Conventional air conditioning and ventilation ducts are made by bending and welding steel plates into a box shape to form the duct body, and then coating the outside of the duct body with a heat insulating material such as glass wool, rock wool, or styrofoam. It was constructed by covering the outside with an exterior material made of a composite sheet material of glass cloth and thin aluminum film.

However, when configuring an air conditioning/ventilation duct as described above, it is necessary to form the duct body by bending and welding steel plates, cover the outside of the duct body with heat insulating material, and apply the exterior material. It takes a lot of time to manufacture the specified duct, and the cross-sectional structure of the duct has a three-layer structure of steel plate, heat insulation material, and exterior material, which makes it heavy and costly. There was a problem.

[Means for solving the problems] The air conditioning/ventilation duct of the present invention, which solves the above-mentioned conventional problems, has excellent mechanical strength and heat insulation properties, has little volume change even when exposed to high temperatures, and is resistant to brittleness. A rigid foam board 1 having an appropriate thickness is bent into a box shape and bonded to form a duct body 4 having concave and convex fitting parts 2 and 3 for duct connection at both lengthwise ends. The outer periphery of the duct body 4 is coated and bonded with an exterior material 5 made of a composite sheet material of glass cloth 5a and aluminum thin film 5b.

According to the air conditioning/ventilation duct having the above structure, the duct body 4 is constructed by bending and gluing the rigid foam board 1 into a box shape, and the outer periphery of the duct body 4 is coated and bonded with the exterior material 5. Through this work, a duct with a desired cross-sectional dimension can be easily manufactured. In addition, the air conditioning/ventilation duct of the present invention manufactured using the hard foam board body 1 as the main body material has a double cross-sectional structure of the hard foam board body 1 and the exterior material 5, and is light in weight and cost effective. Due to the characteristics of the inexpensive and hard foam board 1, it has excellent mechanical strength and heat insulation, and its volume hardly changes even when exposed to high temperatures, and problems such as cracking and collapse do not occur.

This material was obtained by a manufacturing method in which a sol-like product obtained by adding an organic solvent and butane chloride to the mixture was foam-molded by a conventional method. V-shaped grooves 6a, 6b, 6c for bending into a box shape with predetermined cross-sectional dimensions as shown by imaginary lines in FIG.
and a step-like notch 2a on the inner surface side of one end for forming uneven fitting parts 2 and 3 for duct connection as shown in FIG. 2 at both lengthwise ends of the board body 1. A stepped notch 3a is provided on the outer side of the other end, and a stepped notch 7a is provided on the inner side for forming a box closing joint surface 7 on one side of the board body 1.
An adhesive (not shown) is applied to the cut surfaces of the V-shaped grooves 6a to 6c and the stepped notch surface 7a on one side of the board, and the board body 1 is assembled as shown by imaginary lines in FIG. By bending it into a box shape and gluing it together, a duct main body 4 having a desired cross-sectional dimension is constructed.
