る加熱ローラと、前記加熱ローラと接触して協働
回転する加圧ローラとを有する定着装置において
、 記録紙の通路上に設けられ、記録紙の通過によ
つて作動するアクチユエータと、 アクチユエータの作動によつて前記記録紙の通
過を検出するフオトセンサと、 前記加熱ローラから前記フオトセンサへの熱を
遮断するために加熱ローラを覆う熱遮断部材と、 を備えたことを特徴とする定着装置。
