(Prior art) In recent years, due to consumers' preference for luxury products, automobile interior parts such as instrument panel pads, console boxes, armrests, etc. have been replaced with multi-colored parts instead of the conventional single-colored skin. Multicolored epidermis is in high demand.

By the way, in order to form the multicolored skin as described above by slush molding, it is necessary to (1) how to join different colored skins together, and (2) how to make the boundaries between different colors clearly and without bleeding. There are two issues that need to be resolved: whether it can be expressed.

In order to solve these problems, a molding method and a molding method were proposed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 59-15671.
In No. 148409, we proposed a mold for molding multicolored skins.

To briefly explain the content of the above-mentioned prior art, both are based on a mold in which the molding surface is divided into multiple sections by protrusions. By making them come into contact with each other, the inside of the mold is partitioned into a plurality of molding chambers.

However, there are still problems to be solved regarding joining different colored skins. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, in the molding die of the prior art, when thermoplastic resin 34 is sprayed at the junction of different-colored skins 32 and 33 to separate the molding surface with protrusions 31, thermoplastic resin 34 is sprayed from the tip of protrusion 31. There is a drawback that the resin 34 flows and the joint becomes thin.

For this reason, different-colored skins molded using conventional molds often break at the joints of the skin during use. Therefore, the applicant of the present application has focused on such drawbacks of the conventional slush molds, and has aimed to provide a slush mold that can mold a multicolored skin with strong joints.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The feature of the present invention for achieving the above-mentioned object is that the molding surface is formed by grooves in the slush molding mold, which has a predetermined shape and can control the temperature of the molding surface. It is a slush mold that is divided into multiple parts.

The slush mold of this invention uses grooves to partition the molding surface instead of conventional protrusions, so when thermoplastic resin is sprayed, the resin does not run off and spreads uniformly within the grooves, making the joints strong and multicolored. The epidermis can be shaped.

In addition, even when the skin formed in areas other than the grooves is in a molten state, it does not flow into the grooves at the ends of the grooves due to surface tension, so the clarity of the unique joints is maintained.

In FIG. 1, numeral 1 indicates the slush mold of this embodiment. The slush mold is made by electroforming or thermal spraying of nickel, aluminum, etc., and is capable of copying the shape and molding the surface of the desired shape.A pipe 2 is provided on the back of the mold 22 through which a heat medium such as oil or steam flows, and the molding surface is Heat 3 to about 170-280℃, or
It can be cooled down to around 20℃.

The grooves 4 may have no pattern or the same joint pattern as the molding surface 3 other than the grooves 4 (for example, a leather-like pattern, a cloth pattern), but by applying a seam pattern or rope pattern to the part, It is also possible to create a texture that has a more unified appearance.

Thereafter, thermoplastic resin powders 20 and 21 of different colors are filled into each molding chamber, and the raw material is spread over each part of the molding surface 3 by rotating and rocking the mold 1. After the semi-molten or molten skins 8 and 9 are attached to the molding surface 3 to a suitable thickness, the mold 1 is turned over and excess raw material is discharged (not shown).

After that, the partition plate 5 is removed, and a thermoplastic resin powder 12 having a different color tone from that filled in the molding chambers 6 and 7 is applied by spraying 11 or another method to the groove portion 4 to which the surface is not attached. do.
(Fig. 3) At this time, the skin attached earlier does not enter the groove due to the influence of surface tension, so the clarity of the joining surface of the different-colored skin is ensured as in the conventional mold. When the coating is completed without any gaps in the grooves 4, the spraying is finished and the thermoplastic resin in the grooves 4 is further melted by heating. At this time, as shown in FIG. 4, the molten thermoplastic resin flows within the groove 4 and is uniformly distributed.
