The present invention relates to artificial turf for ball games, which is suitable for use in tennis, soccer, and other ball games. Conventionally, green synthetic fiber threads such as polyamide or polyvinylidene chloride have been planted on a woven fabric, treated with pile-stopping processing from the back side with synthetic rubber, etc., and foamed 3 to 6 times as thick as sponge rubber, approximately 10 mm thick. One with a sheet pasted on it is well known. However, in conventional products, the threads are dyed green with pigments containing heavy metals such as yellow lead for cost and stability reasons, which increases reflection from the soil intervening between the threads and causes them to powder or break due to friction. However, it had the disadvantage of scattering heavy metals such as yellow lead, which are harmful to the human body. This drawback can be overcome by dyeing the filament with a pigment that does not contain heavy metals such as yellow lead, but if the thickness is too thin, the weather resistance of the filament will deteriorate and its life will be shortened. On the other hand, increasing the thickness improves weather resistance, but it also reduces the rolling speed of the ball and causes the ball to bounce poorly or irregularly, making the ball behave unsuitably for competition. had. The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks and creates a ball game field that does not scatter heavy metals such as yellow lead that are harmful to the human body, does not cause balls to behave inappropriately for competition, and has a reasonable lifespan that is resistant to powdering. The purpose is to provide artificial turf for use. Next, an embodiment of the artificial turf for a ball game field according to the present invention will be described based on the drawings. 1 is a thread-like material made of synthetic fibers dyed green by mixing phthalocyanine green as a phthalocyanine pigment, Bengara as an iron oxide pigment, and isoindolinone as another pigment. The filamentous material 1 is planted on a synthetic fiber woven fabric 2,
A foam rubber 3 is adhered to the back surface of the synthetic fiber woven fabric 2. In addition to the woven fabric 2 as in the embodiment described above, the fabric to which the filamentous material is planted may be a knitted fabric or a non-woven fabric. 4 is soil such as sand, soil, or inorganic powder such as calcium carbonate, which is interposed between the filamentous materials 1 on the synthetic fiber woven fabric 2. As the filament 1, filaments and spun yarns such as monofilaments, multifilaments, split yarns, and flat yarns made of synthetic resins such as polypropylene, polyamide, and polyvinylidene chloride are used, and the thickness thereof is 50 microns or more.
A thickness of 70 microns or more and 270 microns or less is preferably used. If the thickness of the filament is less than 50 microns, even if a light-resistance stabilizer is added, light will easily pass through, the synthetic resin will deteriorate and become brittle, and the filament will easily become powdered and break. It is not possible to achieve sufficient weather resistance for thread-like materials dyed with.
Also, if the thickness is 300 microns or more, it will be too hard and the rolling speed of the ball will be reduced, the bounce will be low, and the ball will bounce irregularly.
This would damage the surface of the ball, making it unsuitable for use as artificial turf for ball games. Examples are shown in the table below. In addition, when displaying, the items will be explained. (1) Abrasion: JIS L-1021 H38 Amount of wear after 10,000 cycles of 1Kg load (○ and △ in the table indicate good with little wear, × indicate poor) (2) Weather resistance: Sun The time until powdering occurred was checked every 300 hours using a shear-in weatherometer (in the table, ○ indicates no powdering, △ indicates slight powdering, and × indicates significant powdering). (3) Pilot: Use the pilot field (use it for competition for more than 5 hours a day), and follow up on the amount of wear six months and two years later (measure the remaining height, and confirm that 75% or more remains). (4) Playability: The rolling speed of a tennis ball, the bounce height, etc. of a hard tennis ball were compared with those of a clay court. (The marks ◎, ○, △, and × in the table indicate the quality of play in the order of excellent, good, fair, and poor. × marks indicate the occurrence of irregular bounces.) (5) Damage to the surface of the ball: The appearance of the hard tennis ball was observed one hour after the start of play (◎, ○, △, × in the table indicates the ranking of the degree of damage; The scratches on the surface are noticeably fluffy)

[Table] The artificial turf for competitions used in the above measurement example was made of the following materials. A Filamentous material Synthetic resin (polypropylene resin) 100 parts by weight Pigment (phthalocyanine green, Bengara, isoindolinone) 2 parts by weight Stable weather resistance (benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber) 0.5 parts by weight B Soil Particle size 0.15 to 1.7 mm Dry Sand C Cloth Polypropylene Woven Fabric In the present invention, filaments made of synthetic resin planted on cloth are dyed with a phthalocyanine pigment and/or iron oxide pigment, and between the filaments on the cloth, Even if soil is involved in
Since the thread-like material has a thickness of 50 microns or more, it has sufficient weather resistance, does not powder or break, and does not scatter heavy metals that are harmful to the human body as in the past. In addition, since the thickness of the filament is less than 300 microns, it is not too hard, does not reduce the rolling speed of the ball, does not lower the bounce, and does not cause irregular bounces, allowing stable play. It can be used suitably as an artificial turf for a ball game field without damaging the surface of the ball.
