置において、 前記定着ローラのウオームアツプ時に使用する
第１の電圧、及び、前記定着ローラのウオームア
ツプ完了後に使用する第２の電圧の２つの電圧を
供給する変圧手段と、 前記変圧手段と前記定着ヒータとの間に配置さ
れ、前記第１の電圧及び第２の電圧の切り換えを
行う切り換え手段と、 前記定着ローラの温度を検知する温度検知手段
と、 ウオームアツプ時に前記切り換え手段を制御し
て、前記定着ヒータへ前記第１の電圧を供給し、
前記温度検知手段を介してウオームアツプ完了を
検知した時、前記切り換え手段を制御して、前記
定着ヒータへの第２の電圧を供給する制御手段と
を備えたことを特徴とする定着装置。 (2) 前記請求項１において、 前記第１の電圧は、前記画像形成装置全体の消
費電力を増加させることなく、ウオームアツプ時
