Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the continuous operation of cooling and heating through interior circulation of air by providing a dust collecting filter, an activated carbon filter and the separation pipe connected to the air feeding part of the first blow means on the inlet side thereof and opened on the downstream side of a flow path on the outlet side thereof and packed with an adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:Air in a compartment is sucked by a blower 16 and dust is removed by a dust collecting filter 18. Further, the malodorous component in the air is adsorbed by an activated filter 20. The first pump 24 is operated by a control circuit 44 simultaneously with the starting of the blower 16 and, after a predetermined time is elapsed, the first valve 32 is opened to introduce air into a separation pipe 28. After the greater part of N2 and O2 flows out of the outlet 28B of the separation pipe 28, the third value 42 is opened and Co, NOx or the like flow backward through the separation pipe to be discharged to the outside from the compartment. By repeatedly performing this operation, poisonous components such as CO, NOx or the like can be removed and the continuous operation of cooling and heating can be carried out through interior circulation of air.

BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, in vehicle air conditioners installed in vehicles such as automobiles, there are two methods: one method is to take in outside air from outside the vehicle interior for cooling or heating, and the other method is to circulate the inside air inside the vehicle interior for heating and cooling. Of these, in the case of outside air, the thermal efficiency is poor because the air must be exchanged.

On the other hand, in the case of inside air, the thermal efficiency is good because there is no air going in and out.
Since harmful components such as O, So, etc. are not eliminated, there is a problem in continuing the indoor air condition for a long time.

Additionally, air purifiers are used to deodorize and collect dust, but although they remove odors and dust, they are ineffective against CO1NOX and SOX emitted from cigarettes, etc., unless these components are removed. , the problem of continuous air conditioning in indoor air conditions remains unsolved.

Furthermore, commonly used air purifiers use adsorbents such as activated carbon, but these adsorbents reach the end of their lifespan when the amount of odor components adsorbed reaches saturation, and must be replaced.

Recently, an air purifier using a photoexcited catalyst (Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 63-80833) has also been used, but this also has the advantage of having a longer lifespan than the air purifier using the adsorbent. Since CO1NOx and the like are discharged due to the oxidation reaction, the problem of continuing air conditioning in indoor air conditions is not solved.

[Operation] In the present invention having the above configuration, the air inside the vehicle is sucked by the blower, dust is removed by the dust collection filter, and odor components are adsorbed by the activated carbon filter. A part of the air from which dust and odor components have been removed is sucked in by the first blowing means operated by the control means, and when the first flow rate adjustment means is opened by the control means, it is transferred to the separation tube filled with adsorbent. be introduced. The air introduced into the separation tube is N2.0□ and CO
5NOx etc. are separated. That is, in the separation tube, N2.
0□ flows faster than C01No, etc., and C01NOx, etc. lags behind due to its affinity with the adsorbent. Therefore, when most of the N2.0□ has flowed out from the outlet of the separation tube, the control means causes the air sucked in by the second blowing means to flow back into the separation tube by flattening the third flow rate adjustment means, The first flow rate adjustment means is closed and the second flow rate adjustment means is opened to discharge Co, NOx, etc. from the exhaust pipe to the outside of the vehicle. By repeating this process, unpleasant components such as odor, Co, and N are removed.

By repeating this process, the CO0 sucked from inside the vehicle will be reduced.
Harmful components such as 1NOx can be removed, and continuous operation of heating and cooling can be performed in indoor air conditions. In addition, since there is very little exchange of air between the inside and outside of the vehicle, the efficiency of the air conditioning system is improved, providing faster temperature control, reducing the load on the engine, and improving fuel efficiency.
