めの開弁圧室に接続される燃料通路の一部に、ポ
ンプ側燃料入路を作動圧入路として接続されてい
るスプールバルブ室を設け、このスプールバルブ
室内には、ポンプ側燃料入路側から上記スプール
バルブ室周面に向けて開口した孔が設けられたス
プールバルブが回転可能でかつ摺動可能に挿嵌さ
れており、上記スプールバルブ室内周面には、そ
の面上に沿つて上記スプールバルブの初期位置か
らの変位始端側に小幅に設定されたパイロツト用
送油溝と、上記スプールバルブの変位終端側に上
記パイロツト用送油溝よりも大幅に設定されかつ
その幅が変化している主噴射用送油溝をそれぞれ
設け、これら送油溝にはさまれたスプールバルブ
室周面のスプールバルブの変位方向の幅が変化し
ており、上記送油溝は、燃料通路によつて上記針
弁の開弁圧室に接続されていることを特徴とした
