(Prior art and its problems) When electrostatically flocking a cylindrical member, after masking unnecessary flocking parts at both ends of the cylindrical member, an adhesive is applied by spraying, dipping, brushing, or the like. After the hair transplantation is completed, the masking is removed.

In addition to this, there is a coating method using a knife coater, but when the knife is removed from the cylindrical member, the adhesive stretched on the edge of the knife leaves streak-like marks on the coated surface, resulting in a coating film in that area. It is not commonly used because the surface is convex.

Furthermore, all of the above methods require a masking step and have low production efficiency. As for masking,
It is common to wrap tape or use rubber packing, but when it comes to tape masking, it takes time and effort to mark the border between the adhesive application area and unnecessary areas, When removing the hair, the ends of the flocked areas will come off at the same time.

(Structure of the Invention) In order to achieve the above object, a blade part faces diagonally from above with a uniform gap to the upper surface of a coating area of a cylindrical member rotatably mounted in a substantially horizontal direction, and a first blade whose gap is adjustable; an adhesive supply means for supplying adhesive to the surface of the cylindrical member near the first blade; and a second blade facing from below with a uniform gap and arranged so that the gap can be adjusted, and at least both left and right ends of the blade portion of the first blade protrude at acute angles. , the angle between the back surface of the protrusion and the upper surface of the blade.
The angle is between 5° and 30°.

In the above configuration, if the first blade is set at a predetermined gap with respect to the cylindrical member and the cylindrical member is rotated in the direction toward the blade edge to supply the adhesive, the adhesive can be applied to the cylindrical member with a uniform film thickness. While being applied to the peripheral surface of the member, the adhesive does not flow out from the tips of the protrusions provided at both ends of the blade portion of the first blade, so masking of non-applied areas becomes unnecessary. Furthermore, even if streaky protrusions appear on the coating surface when the first blade is separated from the cylindrical member, if the second blade is used to squeeze the film surface for a very short time, the streaky protrusions can be removed. This results in an extremely uniform coating film being formed efficiently.

(Example) Hereinafter, an example will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which 1 is a cylindrical member mounted substantially horizontally on the apparatus of the present invention, and 2 is its shaft, which is held by a bearing 3. When the adhesive is applied to the cylindrical member 1, the cylindrical member 1 is rotated in the direction of the arrow via the bearing 3 by a drive source (not shown). The adhesive is applied to the entire circumferential surface of the cylindrical member 1 except for non-applied areas 4 at both ends.
Reference numeral 5 denotes a first blade which is arranged so that the blade part faces the upper surface of the adhesive application area of the cylindrical member 1 from diagonally above with a uniform gap, and the gap can be adjusted as desired. It is possible to move forward and backward. Reference numeral 6 denotes an adhesive supply nozzle, which, while moving in the axial direction of the cylindrical member 1, supplies adhesive to the surface of the cylindrical member at the portion where the blade portion of the first blade faces. The adhesive is sent from a tank (not shown) through a supply pipe 7, and supply and stop are controlled by opening and closing an electromagnetic valve 8. Reference numeral 9 denotes a second blade, which is arranged so that the blade part faces the lower surface of the adhesive application area of the cylindrical member 1 from below with a uniform gap, and can be moved forward and backward so that the gap can be adjusted as desired. It is now possible to move in any direction.

Here, as shown in FIG. 2, both the left and right ends of the blade portion of the first blade 5 protrude at acute angles, and the back side of the protrusion, that is, the C side in the figure, and the upper side of the blade portion. The present invention is characterized in that the angle formed with the plane , that is, plane B in the figure, is 5° to 30°. In the example, the angle α of the cutting edge is 60°, the angle β of the protrusion is 30°, and the angle at which the B plane and the C plane intersect is 20°.

In addition, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG.
As the second blade 9, one having a similar shape to the first blade 5 is used. However, since the action of forming the adhesive film is not as direct as that of the first blade, the shape of the C-plane is slightly different from that of the first blade. In this example, α is 60°, β is 30°,
The angle where plane B and plane C intersect is 90°.

Next, the operation of this embodiment and the reason why the shape of the blade, especially the shape of the first blade, is made as shown in FIG. 2 will be explained.

As shown in Fig. 1, the first blade 5 is set with respect to the cylindrical member 1 through a predetermined gap, and the cylindrical member 1 is rotated in the direction toward the edge of the blade 5 at a speed of, for example, several tens to 100 rpm. and supply an appropriate amount of adhesive (an amount commensurate with the film thickness + a small amount). The adhesive is squeezed by the first blade 5 for, for example, several tens of seconds, and is applied to the circumferential surface of the cylindrical member in a constant film thickness.

At the time of application, excess adhesive rides on the upper surface of the blade portion of the first blade 5, and rather than riding over the tips of the protrusions at both ends, the tip moves as if spinning around. Then, it does not flow out to the non-coated area. If the angle β is an obtuse angle, the adhesive, which is a non-Newtonian fluid, bulges at both ends of the first blade 5 due to the Weisenberg effect, overflows from the ends, and flows into the non-applying area. Therefore, as in the present invention, by making both ends of the blade protrude at an acute angle, the adhesive easily climbs over the protruding parts and performs a turning action, thereby preventing the adhesive from flowing into the non-applying area 4. .

The turning motion of the adhesive at the tip of the protrusion is
It is greatly influenced by the size of the angle made with the surface, 30°
If it becomes larger, the turning action will not be smooth, and it will flow out from the tip of the protrusion into the non-coated area in search of a place to flow out. Furthermore, when the angle is smaller than 5°, the mechanical strength of the tip becomes weak.

On the other hand, the role of the second blade 9 is as follows. As described above, by pressing the first blade 5, a uniform film of adhesive is formed in the adhesive application area of the cylindrical member 1, and the first blade 5 is separated from the cylindrical member 1. At this point of separation, the adhesive applied to the cylindrical member is pulled and bulges due to intermolecular attraction with the adhesive attached to the cutting edge of the first blade, creating a streak-like mark. Therefore, the second blade 9 is brought close to the cylindrical member 1 until a predetermined gap is formed, and when the rotational speed of the cylindrical member 1 is 150 rpm,
After squeezing the membrane surface for a very short time of ~2 seconds, the second blade 9 is released from the cylindrical member 1. Through this operation, the film surface that remains in streaks and other uneven portions due to the rubbing of the first blade is scraped off and smoothed.

Since the second blade 9 is arranged so as to approach the cylindrical member 1 from below, the excess adhesive squeezed by the second blade immediately flows downward, thus preventing the coating surface and the blade from collapsing. There are no adhesive pools in between, so that no streaks are created when the second blade is pulled away from the cylindrical member. Although one second blade is used in the embodiment, there may be two or more second blades that play this role.

Hereinafter, it is appropriate that the angle β of the protrusion is in the range of 10 to 45 degrees, and the angle at which the B plane and the C plane intersect is in the range of 5 to 30 degrees.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, according to the present invention, by providing the first and second blades and making both ends of the blade portion of at least the first blade protrude at an acute angle, both ends of the cylindrical member are Since the adhesive can be prevented from flowing into the non-applied area, the conventional masking process is no longer necessary, resulting in a significant reduction in the number of man-hours.
