【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は内、外装材の頂面をカバーしたり、窓
回りの納めに使用する止縁に関するものである。 〔従来の技術〕 従来から使用されている止縁としては、第1図
に示すような形状のものが挙げられる。すなわ
ち、胴縁、柱等の取付体Aに釘Bを介して止縁
を固定し、その後で外装材Cを嵌挿する構造にな
つていた。しかも、止縁の固定片の幅l1と化
粧片7の幅l2がほぼ等しい寸法であり、かつ、受
け片8が約2〜5mm位に形成されていた。 〔考案が解決しようとする問題点〕 このような止縁では、〓)固定片と化粧片の長
さが同等なので釘が打設しにくく、化粧片に打痕
を残したり、変形させたりする。〓建材表面と止
縁の境界に大きな段差が生じ、美観性に欠ける。
〓受け片の幅が狭いため化粧片を外装材の表面と
平行になるように矯正できない。〓受け面と外装
材C表面間に化粧片の弾力が十分に作用せず、両
部材間に間〓が生ずる。〓建材は止縁に単に挿入
されているだけなので、受け片と建材化粧面間に
弾力が十分に働かず、しかも建材化粧面から浸入
した雨水が止縁の固定片表面に広がる。〓止縁を
途中で連結して使用する際に、連結部に大きな段
差、〓間が生じ、美観を損なう。等の欠点があつ
た。 〔問題点を解決するための手段〕 本考案はこのような欠点を除去するため、取付
部の長さを化粧片長さより10mm以上突出するよう
にして釘の打設を容易にし、かつ、浸入した雨水
を拡げることなしに流下すると共に化粧片の受け
片と共働して建材を挟持し、さらに、建材表面と
止縁の境界をスマートな外形に形成し、その上、
止縁を途中で連結する場合も、段差を微小とし
て、美観性を向上すると共に、確実に建材を押さ
えるように形成した止縁を提案するものである。 〔実施例〕 以下に、図面を用いて本考案に係る止縁の一実
施例について詳細に説明する。なお、第1図と相
応する部分は同一符号、番号を付する。すなわ
ち、第2図は上記止縁を示す斜視図であり、表
面処理鋼板、塩ビ鋼板、ステンレス、アルミニウ
ム板を図示するように成形し、取付部、L字状
化粧部とを一体に全体として横断面をコ字状に
形成したものである。さらに説明すると、取付部
2は長尺状で、かつ、平板の途中に少なくとも1
本以上の凸リブ、あるいは凹リブ(図示せず)の
1種以上をL字状化粧部と平行に形成したリブ
3とその先端に設けた舌片4と、舌片4を含む取
付部も先端を長手方向に所定長さに亘つて切り欠
いた切り欠き部11とから形成したものであり、
主に止縁を取付体Aに固定するのに役立つもの
である。また、リブ3はL字状化粧部との共働
による建材Cの挟持力の強化と外装材C端部のガ
タ付防止、および雨水が止縁内に漏洩した際に
雨水が取付体A、外装材Cの裏面に広がらないよ
うにする雨返し機能をも兼備するものである。さ
らに、舌片4は取付部の下端縁を内方に屈曲し
てなり、止縁施工時の危険防止を図るものであ
る。また、L字状化粧部は外装材Cの端面カバ
ー片6と化粧片7と∠状断面の受け片8とから一
体に形成したものであり、端部カバー片6は外装
材Cの端面を被覆するもので取付部の他端角部
を内方に、例えば90°程度に屈曲したものであり、
角部のカバー片6側を長手方向に所定長さに亘つ
て切り欠いた切り欠き部12を形成したものであ
る。さらに、化粧片7は取付部と平行で、か
つ、取付部の幅より少なくとも10mm以上小さい
寸法であり、受け片8は化粧片7の先端を内方に
鈍角に傾斜した傾斜片9と、外装材Cの表面と止
の境界部をスマートにすると共に、先端部の

すように装着すると仮定する。すなわち、柱より
なる取付体Aに止縁を釘Bを介して固定し、次
に外装材Cを装着し、所定の長さに到達したら、
新たに止縁を切り欠き部11〜13を利用して
連結し、次に外装材Cを同様に装着していくもの
である。 〔考案の効果〕 上述したように本考案に係る止縁によれば、
取付部とL字状化粧部間の幅寸法に10mm以上の差
を形成したため、釘の打設が容易となり、しか
も上記化粧面部を変形させたり、打痕が発生しな
い特徴がある。また、取付部に設けたリブと受
け片で建材端部をガタなく、安定した状態で挟持
でき、しかも内部に漏洩した雨水が拡散せずに
流下しうる特徴がある。さらに、受け片を傾斜
面に形成したため、建材表面と止縁の境界部がス
マートとなり、美しい外観の壁体を形成できる。
また、切り欠き部を形成したため、止縁同士の
連結に際しても、段差、〓間を抑え、美観性を向
上する特徴がある。
