Therefore, in order to meet these demands, a large number of flame retardants are being developed and studied. Commonly used flame retardants for synthetic resins include halogen compounds and phosphorus compounds, and in addition to these flame retardants, antimony trioxide and tin oxide are also used as flame retardant aids. ing.

難燃性樹脂の開発が望まれている。[Problems to be solved by the invention] When a halogen compound is blended into synthetic resin as a flame retardant, the effect of flame retardation is relatively large, but toxic or harmful substances are generated when a fire occurs or during incineration. This poses problems such as making emergency or firefighting operations difficult or causing environmental pollution. Therefore, it is desired to develop flame-retardant resins that contain no halogen compounds or a relatively small amount of halogen compounds.

Since the blending amount is large, there are problems such as a decrease in heat resistance and mechanical properties of the flame-retardant resin obtained.

As a result of repeated efforts, the flame retardancy of synthetic resins was significantly improved by using a flame retardant composition containing a phosphorus compound and a boron compound as essential components, and furthermore, by using a polyorganosiloxane and/or a fluororesin in combination. It has been discovered that by doing so, an even more excellent flame retardant effect can be achieved, and the present invention has been achieved.
