Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the temperature of water in a washing tank suitable for washing by determining energizing time for a water side supply value and a hot water side supply valve based on the detected temperature and the detected flow rate of water supplied, so that the quantity of water supplied to the washing tank can be provided with heating value obtained by the set values for both of the temperature and the quantity of water. CONSTITUTION:A water temperature detecting means 1 detects the temperature of warm water where hot water is mixed with water, a water temperature setting means 2 sets up the target value for the temperature of water in a washing tank, and the aforesaid respective values are then inputted into an operating means 3. The operating means 3 then operates energizing time required by both a water side supply valve 4 and a hot water side supply valve 5 based on the data from the water temperature detecting means 1, the water temperature setting means 2, a flow rate detecting means 6 and a flow rate setting means 7. A water level detecting means 10 detects the water level of the washing tank, and it suspends water supply when the water level reaches the set one based on the result of the operations. By this constitution, the washing tank can thereby be provided with the temperature and the quantity of water suitable for washing, which are to be set up in advance.

In step 32, the water level is determined when both the water side water supply valve 4 and the hot water side water supply valve 6 are energized for the calculated time. The set water level is obtained by dividing the set water volume set by the water volume setting means 7 and the cross-sectional area of the outer tank 13. Here, if the water level of the outer tank 13 has not reached the set water level, only the water side water supply valve 4 is turned ON in step 33 to supplement the water amount. Then, when the water level in the outer tank 13 reaches the set water level, the process moves to the next step.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above embodiments, according to the present invention, the calculation means determines the amount of water to be supplied into the washing tub based on the set water temperature value set by the water temperature setting means and the set water amount set by the water amount setting means. Since the energization time of the water side water supply valve and the hot water side water supply valve is determined so that the amount of heat obtained from can. Therefore, it is possible to save the user the trouble of setting the water temperature, and it is possible to prevent the user from accidentally setting a high water temperature value and damaging the clothes.
