り、特にチルトレバーで固定ブラケツトを可動ブ
ラケツトに圧接させ、ステアリングシヤフトを支
架した可動ブラケツトがチルトヒンジを中心とし
て所望の角度に傾斜固定可能なチルト式ステアリ
ングコラム装置に関する。

にロツクカラー11、チルトレバー4及びロツク
ナツト17をそれぞれ嵌挿してある。ロツクカラ
ー11は固定ブラケツト2との圧接面に、長孔8
に嵌合する回転止め部12及び歯部13が形成さ
れ、その背向面にはワンウエイカム14が形成さ
れている。歯部13が圧接する固定ブラケツト2
の側壁には長孔8の長手方向両側に歯部10が刻
設され、歯部10,13は噛合可能に構成されて
いる。チルトレバー4にはロツクカラー11のワ
ンウエイカム14に圧接する突起部16が形成さ
れている。ロツクナツト17はチルトレバー4の
回転孔4aに嵌着するカラー部17aを有し、こ
のカラー部17aとチルトレバー4とは一体的に
連結される。

れ長孔を固定ブラケツトに穿設してなるチルト式
ステアリングコラム装置を構成したものである。

る肉厚の減少すべき部分は長孔8,18の両方へ
均等に逃げることができるので、刻設される歯部
10は金型面に沿つて成形された精度の高いもの
が得られる。したがつて、ロツクカラー11の歯
部13と噛合性能が極めて高い歯部10を形成す
ることができる。

せ、運転性能の向上をもたらす効果を奏する。
