[Prior Art] Conventionally, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application No. 2-45905, the above-mentioned tying machines have conventionally been configured to use hemp string or jute string as the tying string, and are used for agricultural purposes. It is often used as a stem culm binding device for binders, combines, etc. This binding device has a structure in which a string brake is provided in the middle of the string that is unwound from the winding string storage section by a needle, and which elastically presses a pair of plate members into contact with each other. However, when using hemp string or jute string as described above to bind cut flowers, green onions, asparagus, and other soft and long vegetables, increasing the binding force may damage the tied items; As a result, the objects to be bound may become loose during subsequent handling, making it practically unusable, and rubber bands have been used as a method of bundling several objects at a time as described above. . Therefore, it is conceivable to bind the rubber strings using a conventionally structured binding device, but in this case, the following problems occur.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the above conventional structure, the pressing force of the string brake prevents the string from being excessively let out due to the inertial force of the string due to high-speed tying operation. However, in this structure, the clamping force of the string always acts, so if you use this structure to bind with rubber string, the frictional resistance of the rubber material is large, so the above-mentioned problem will occur. The string brake does not allow the string to be smoothly fed out due to the strong frictional force, and the string becomes under extreme tension during the tying operation, making it impossible to perform the tying operation. The present invention makes effective use of the characteristics of rubber cords, maintains an appropriate tension force during the binding operation, and is able to bundle objects with an appropriate tension force, and also enables smooth binding by appropriate string feeding timing. The object of the present invention is to provide a general-purpose binding machine capable of performing a binding operation.

[Means for Solving the Problems] A characteristic feature of the present invention is to provide a Knotterbill-type knotting mechanism for knotting a binding rubber string supplied from a winding storage section by a needle that is driven and oscillated within a predetermined range; Provided between the winding storage section and the needle, resistance is provided to the unwinding of the rubber string when the needle is in operation of supplying the string to the knotting mechanism;
The present invention is characterized in that it is provided with a string letting-out resistance means that allows the rubber string to be let out when the needle is retracted to the standby position.

[Operation] When the rubber string is fed by the needle toward the knotting mechanism, resistance is applied to the unwinding of the rubber string, so due to the frictional resistance, the rubber string is hardly let out, and the knotting mechanism The rubber cord portion that is activated maintains the initially set appropriate tension, so that objects to be bound can be bundled with appropriate tension. Furthermore, when the tying operation is completed and the needle retires to the standby position, the newly supplied rubber string is held in the tying mechanism, so that the string portion tends to stretch as the needle retires. However, since the string is allowed to be let out at this time, it is possible to maintain almost the same tension as during the previous binding operation. At this time, since the knotting operation is not performed, the binding tension of the objects to be bound is not adversely affected.

[Effects of the Invention] Therefore, it is possible to provide a device that can quickly and mechanically bind soft objects such as long vegetables and cut flowers using rubber strings, so that the bundle is always in an appropriate state of tension. This makes it possible to bind objects to be bound, and even with rubber materials that are easily expandable and have a large friction coefficient, a good binding operation can be maintained.

Next, the binding operation procedure will be explained. From a standby state in which the end of the rubber string 4 is held between the string holders 42 and the needle 6 is at the upper standby position, the object to be bound a is placed on the workbench 7 and fed along the lower side of the string. When the object to be bound a reaches the vicinity of the binding action point, the object to be bound a comes into contact with the operating piece 27 of the hand switch SW2, the one-turn clutch mechanism 18 is activated, and the driven shaft 16 is driven one rotation. . Then, as shown in FIG. 12, the needle 6 is actuated to feed the rubber string 4 toward the knotting mechanism 3. At this time, the string wound around the string guide roller 40 is further wound in the winding direction as the needle 6 operates, and the string is almost stopped from being fed out. Then, before the needle 6 reaches the maximum plunge position, the string gathering member 53 first switches from the open position to the retaining position. Immediately thereafter, the knotting bill 43 is driven to rotate and starts knotting by winding together the string portion 4c held by the string holder 42 and the string portion 4d supplied by the needle 6 (FIG. 13). Note that at this time, the string guide member 47 is set at the operating position.

Thereafter, when the needle 6 reaches the maximum plunge position, the string holder 42 rotates from that point on, aligning the string portions 4c and 4d, and acting to wind them up by the knot bill 43 (FIG. 14). , Figure 15). When the winding operation of the knot building 43 is completed, the string gathering member 53 switches to the open position, and the cutting cutter 58 provided in the string holder 42 approaches the string guide plate 57 and cuts the string portion. Thereafter, the string guide member 47 swings laterally from the operating position to remove the string wrapped around the knot building 43, and the knotting operation is completed (FIGS. 16 to 18). At this time, near the end of the winding operation of the knotted bill 43, the string holder 42 releases the held string portion 4c, and newly holds the supplied string portion 4d by the needle 6, and then , the supply string portion 4d is cut by the cutting cutter 58. As mentioned above, since the rubber string 4 is hardly let out from the needle 6 side, the rubber string 4 is in an elongated state during the knotting operation, and when the string is cut, it is first held by the string holder 42. The tied string portion 4c is in an extremely stretched state due to its winding action, so when the pinching state is released, it comes off from the loop portion formed by the knot building 43, and the knot of the binding string is tied. However, it becomes a so-called one-sided knot state (see FIG. 21). As a result, when removing the rubber string 4 from the bound object a, if you pull the one string part,
Because there is only one string passing through the loop of the knot, and because of the stretching action of the rubber string and the sliding action of the unevenness 4b formed on the rubber string, it can be easily removed, and after it comes out of the loop, The remaining loops act to expand, making it easy to release the tied state. Moreover, since the knot building 43 and the string holder 42 are provided so that their respective driving axes are parallel to each other, when the string holder 42 performs the winding operation,
The posture of both the string portions positioned between the knot building 43 and the rotating direction of the string holder 42 are substantially parallel,
There is no possibility that the clamping spring 42a will be wound around the disposed portion of the clamping spring 42a and the knotting operation will be inhibited (FIG. 19). Moreover, by forming the streak-like unevenness 4b on the surface of the rubber string 4, it can be appropriately slid in the longitudinal direction during the clamping action of the string holder 42, and
Appropriate clamping force can be maintained, and the holding action can be performed smoothly. Then, when the needle retires to the standby position, the guide roller 40 acts in a direction to loosen the winding of the string, and the rubber string 4 is paid out from the storage portion 5 as the needle is retracted.

[Another embodiment] The resistance means for letting out the string is
Instead of winding the rubber string 4 around the guide roller 40,
It may be configured such that when the needle 6 is in the supply operation, the string is prevented from being drawn out by a clamping action, and when the needle 6 is in the retracting operation, the clamping action is stopped and the string is allowed to be drawn out.
