Claims (3)
熱ロールに圧接する加圧ロールと、加熱ロールを輻射加
熱する外部加熱装置とを有しており、軸方向に複数分割
された加熱部等により加熱幅を変更できる内部、及び外
部加熱装置で構成されている定着装置の温度制御方法に
おいて、像記録用紙のサイズや種類等の情報と、像記録
用紙の位置等の情報とを検知し、かつ加熱ロールの温度
を検出し、これらの結果に基づいて内部加熱装置または
外部加熱装置を適切に制御することを特徴とする定着装
