(Prior Art) Conventionally, various joint materials have been used to prevent the occurrence of cracks in concrete, and in particular, so-called joint materials that are made of foamed resin and covered with a plastic cap on the top of the joint material body have been used. What are called expansion joints are becoming popular. However, in this expansion joint, there is no elasticity in the cap part, it is easy to curve when constructing the joint, and the case where the surface is finished with tiles etc. is not taken into account.
There are still technical issues that need to be considered.

That is, the present invention has a U-shaped cross section made of plastic and removably engaged with grooves formed in the upper part of the legs disposed on the base surface and located on both sides of the joint body made of foam. After arranging the first upper member and pouring concrete from the base surface to the height of a reference plane extending from the base surface to approximately the upper surface of the first upper member, the first upper member is removed from the leg body, and then the first upper member A rubber member having a rectangular cross-section and having a height equal to or higher than the first upper member, both ends in the width direction made of plastic or metal, and having a space inside is sandwiched between these side plates. The second upper member is detachably engaged with the upper part of the leg body.

First, as shown in FIG. 2A, joint material is placed on the base 9 using adhesive or mortar, and concrete 10 is poured, as in the case of ordinary joint construction. At this time, the first upper member 3 is attached to the leg body 1. Next, after the concrete 10 has cured, the first upper member 3 is removed, the second upper member 5 is attached as shown in FIG. 2B, and the tiles 11 are constructed.

A The cap bodies 7 and 12 of the upper member are connected to the connecting plate 6
Furthermore, since the surface members 8 and 15 are made of synthetic rubber or the like, they have elasticity, unlike conventional caps. Furthermore, the connecting plate 6
When installing, in addition to providing so-called play at the bottom of the parallel plates 7A and 12A as shown in the figure, if the connecting plate 6 is curved downward, the expansion and contraction of the concrete can be freely absorbed.
Further, when the concrete expands, the connecting plate 6 curves downward, so the surface members 8, 15

B. Since the first upper member 3 and the second upper member 5 are used, there is no need to worry about the upper part of the joint material being damaged during concrete pouring, and workability is improved. Further, it is possible to prepare many types of first upper member 3 and second upper member 5 having different heights, and it is possible to correspond to various joint designs. This makes it possible, for example, to apply a thinner surface mortar layer after placing the finishing concrete, and to solve the problem of conventional joint construction in which the surface mortar layer cracks and falls off.

On the other hand, both ends of the second upper member in the width direction are made of plastic or metal, and a rubber member is sandwiched between them, and this rubber member has a space inside to prevent the concrete from expanding and contracting. It can be definitely absorbed. Further, if the height is higher than that of the first upper member, after removing the first upper member, a finishing layer of a predetermined thickness can be easily applied from the first concrete pouring surface.

In addition, since the center part of the second upper member is made of rubber, it has excellent wear resistance, but if the second upper member is damaged, the second upper member is removably engaged with the upper part of the leg. Therefore, it can be easily replaced with a new second upper member.
