<Prior art and its problems> If a sample with bacteria or other microorganisms attached contains solid matter, it is not possible to obtain a uniform test water stock solution as it is, so add sterile physiological saline and shake to wash the test water. After that, it was common practice to remove solids and further dilute as necessary to obtain a stock solution. To remove the solid content from the mixture of test water and sterile physiological saline, there are methods such as waiting for the solid content to precipitate and then measuring the supernatant liquid, and filtering the mixture through filter paper. Also, in order to do this easily,
Bags like the one shown in Figure 1 have also been devised. That is, the mixture is put into the larger half (undiluted solution chamber) 12 of the bag divided into two parts through the opening 11, filtered by the filter section 14 such as filter paper, and then entered into the water test chamber 16.
It is transferred from the outlet 15 to another container. 13 is a heat-sealed partition wall, and 13' is a heat-sealed portion for preventing the solid portion from flowing out from the opening 11. This method hygienically separated the solids from the sample solution inside the bag, and was an extremely simple and excellent method. However, since the sample solution was transferred to another container, a separate container was required. However, it was not always completely satisfactory, as it was not possible to completely prevent solid matter from flowing out from the opening.

<Purpose of the invention> The present invention was developed in view of the above-mentioned circumstances. Like the bag shown in Figure 1, solid matter can be removed hygienically from inside the bag, and a certain amount can be removed using a pipette, etc. To provide a filtration bag capable of obtaining an undiluted solution of test water, allowing the test water to be directly transferred from a pipette to a culture medium without requiring a separate container, and free from contamination with solid matter.

<Structure of the invention> In other words, the invention provides a bag made of plastic or a laminated material having a plastic layer, which has an opening on one side and is sealed on the other three sides. It is a bag that is divided into two into a stock solution chamber and a water testing chamber by providing a partition wall that reaches either side, and a filtration section made of a porous material is provided in this partition wall, and this filtration section is opened from the bottom of the water testing chamber. This filter bag for microbial testing is characterized in that a liquid pool is formed in the water test chamber by providing the bag near the water test chamber.

That is, in FIG. 2a, the bag 2 having the opening 21 is sealed on the other three sides. In the diagram,
Although the sealing is performed by providing a heat seal portion 28 on one of the sides and the bottom, other methods may be used as long as the stock solution contained therein does not leak.

The bag 2 is divided into two by a partition wall 23 into a stock solution chamber 22 and a water test chamber 26 by heat-sealing the sheets constituting the bag 2 with each other.

This partition 23 must extend from the opening 21 to one of the other three sides, and in FIG. 2a it reaches one of the sides. When heat-sealing the partition wall 23, the filtration portion 23 can be heat-sealed by sandwiching a porous material such as absorbent cotton or non-woven fabric.
4 can be formed simultaneously with the partition wall 23.

This filtration part 24 must be provided in a part closer to the opening 21 than the bottom of the water test chamber 26. The space between the bottom of the water test chamber 26 and the filter section 24 becomes a liquid reservoir 27, in which the filtered test water accumulates.

In the present invention, it is desirable that the amount of stock solution used is relatively small. That is, a relatively small amount of the stock solution is first introduced into the stock solution chamber 22 through the opening 21, but at this time, the stock solution passes through the filtration section 24.
It is not necessary, and it is desirable that it not be reached. After that, the opening 21 is sealed by heat sealing as necessary, or without sealing.
The bag 2 is tilted to filter the sample water, and the filtered sample water is stored in a liquid reservoir 27 in the water sample chamber 26.

The sample water thus collected in the liquid reservoir 27 is either sucked out with a pipette or other instrument after the bag 2 is returned to a horizontal position, or the bag 2 is further tilted and transferred from the outlet 25 to another container. When aspirating with a pipette, the bag 2 is returned to the horizontal position, but since the test water is stored in the liquid reservoir 27, it does not return to the stock solution chamber 22, and the bag 2 is tilted and transferred from the outlet 25 to another container. When transferring, as can be seen from the figure, the partition wall 23 is formed at an angle, and the filtration part 24 is provided at the part where the angle of the partition wall 23 changes, so that no solid matter gets mixed in. Filtration takes place quickly.

The material of the bag of the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it does not allow liquids such as water to pass through, but it is preferably a material that does not tear or become punctured when shaken by a machine such as a stomacher or by hand, and has a thickness of 30 mm. A plastic film such as polyethylene or polypropylene having a thickness of 200 μm or a laminated material having this plastic layer on the inner surface is preferable.
