Conventionally, metal caps used for building balconies, window handrails, etc. have square or square cross sections. This is because with circular pipes, it is difficult to connect and fix the grid by welding or the like.

The means for solving the above technical problem is to connect the upper and lower ends of two circular pipes arranged in parallel with a predetermined distance and formed in a straight or curved shape to the two circular pipes. The pipes are connected and fixed in the longitudinal direction by a connecting plate whose width is slightly longer than the distance between the opposing outer peripheral surfaces of the pipes.

According to the elliptical pipe of the above-mentioned means, since the connecting plate at the bottom has a planar shape, the grid can be easily fixed by welding. This reduces work costs and improves work efficiency. In addition, because the cross-sectional shape is oval, it can give a soft feel to the appearance.
It is particularly suitable for residential buildings where people live. Furthermore, since the upper and lower ends of the two circular pipes are connected and fixed by a connecting plate, they are not easily deformed by external forces.

When the parts are connected and fixed by welding, from the viewpoint of aesthetics, the uneven parts are ground down with a grinder or the like to make them flat.

る。 First, the elliptical pipe 1 is formed in advance to match the shape of the outer peripheral end of the balcony A to be attached. Then, the upper ends of the lattice C are connected and fixed at equal intervals to approximately the center of the connecting plate 3 below the elliptical pipe 1 by welding or the like. Next, the lower end of the lattice C is connected and fixed to the upper surface of the decorative beam D, which is formed to have substantially the same shape as the connecting plate 2, by welding or the like. This forms a handrail B. To attach this handrail B to the balcony A, the decorative beam D is connected and fixed along the outer peripheral edge of the balcony A with bolts or the like (not shown).

As is clear from the above explanation, according to this invention, it is possible to form the handrails of balconies etc. into a rounded shape, which was impossible with the conventional technology, so that it can be used in buildings such as houses. It has the advantage of providing aesthetically pleasing results when used on balconies and window rails. Further, since the grid can be attached by welding, there is an advantage that the work cost can be reduced and the workability can be improved.
