Focusing on this, we tested the suitability of the moss-like pieces as a medium for growing mushrooms by systematically adding organic fertilizer to them. As a result, mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, nameko mushrooms, etc. had extremely high antibacterial properties and high productivity, and the taste and aroma were comparable to those produced using Hodaki medium. Based on the above knowledge, the present invention involves planting seeds in a fungal bed obtained by mixing organic fertilizer with strips of relatively hard-to-decompose bark such as cedar or cypress, and then germinates, grows, and harvests the seeds under appropriate temperature and humidity conditions. The present invention provides a method for cultivating mushrooms and a fungal bed for use in the method.

Various forms of the pieces can be considered, but in order to satisfy various conditions such as appropriate water retention, fertilizer retention, air permeability, rooting ability, and ease of handling, moss is used. On the other hand, natural compost made by naturally aging cow dung and peat moss is prepared as an organic fertilizer 3 as a supplementary nutrient. Then, mix the bark strips 2 and organic fertilizer 3 in a ratio of 7:3.
A fungal bed base material is obtained by blending the ingredients at the following ratio and adding water so that the content in the medium is approximately 65%. As shown in FIG. 1, this fungal bed base material is spread flat in a polypropylene cultivation container C and pressed under appropriate pressure to form a fungal bed 1. Mushroom seed 4 is then planted on the surface of the cultivation container C in a closed cultivation room at a temperature of 18°C to 20°C while maintaining humidity of 70% to 80%. After another 1 to 2 weeks, the bark strips 2 are thinly spread over the bark to form a covering layer 5. Thus 30
After 1 to 40 days, germinated and grown mushrooms are collected.

廃棄物として安価に得られることも大きな利点となる。[Operations and Effects] The method of the present invention and its fungal bed are as described above. The bark strips 2 of cedar, cypress, etc. contain large amounts of cellulose and lignin, and the resin cypress A strong antibacterial effect is obtained, and the bark strips 2 are mixed with an organic fertilizer 3 that contains a large amount of nitrogen, useful bacteria, and various trace elements to maintain an appropriate water retention state, so the base material itself can be sterilized. The planted mushroom mycelia have sufficient resistance to various bacteria, and the density of the fungal bed is uniform, so they can sufficiently absorb each of the nutrients listed above, resulting in excellent growth as well as excellent taste and aroma. You can get mushrooms. Also,
The moderate water retention property of the bark strips 2 prevents concentration disturbances caused by nitrogen, etc., and this also acts as an indirect inhibitory effect on the occurrence of diseases. If a nitrogen starvation phenomenon is observed due to poor fertilizer retention, it can be compensated for by fertilizing from time to time. The cultivation period is also 30 to 40 days as mentioned above, and when using sawdust medium (usually 90 days to 40 days).
100 days) is much more productive. Another major advantage is that the culture medium of the fungal bed itself is light in weight and easy to handle like a sawdust culture medium, and the material can be obtained at low cost as factory waste.
