Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the optical recording medium of a transmission type which allows servo, such as focus servo, at the time of recording or reproducing and the recording and/or reproducing device thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The optical recording medium 1 is constituted by laminating and forming a semi-reflection layer 3 and a recording layer 4 on a substrate 2. This optical recording medium 1 is irradiated with light for recording or reproducing and the focus servo, tracking servo, etc., are executed by using the light reflected by the semi-reflection layer 3.
