Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid fuel combustion device which enables ejection noises of vaporized gas ejected from an ejection nozzle to be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A liquid fuel combustion device wherein liquid fuel is fed into a heated vaporizer 1 to be vaporized, the resultant vaporized gas is ejected into a throat tube 3 through an ejection nozzle 6 to be mixed with primary air by utilizing an ejector effect, and the mixed gas is ignited to be burnt. In this liquid fuel combustion device, axial grooves 3a are formed on the periphery of the inner wall of the throat tube 3. The mixed gas of the vaporized gas with the primary air is smoothened in the throat tube, and ejection noises at the ejection nozzle can be reduced.

Next, the operation of this device will be explained. First, turn on a switch (not shown), energize the preheating heater 4, and heat the vaporizer 1 to the temperature required to vaporize the liquid fuel.
Preheat. When the preheating of the vaporizer 1 is completed, the thermistor 12 detects this and the operation is started, and the liquid fuel is sent to the vaporization chamber 2 via the oil feed pipe 11, heated in the vaporization chamber 2, and becomes vaporized gas. When the vaporization chamber 2 is sufficiently filled with the vaporized gas, the electromagnetic solenoid 10 is activated, the needle 9 is sucked, the nozzle hole 6a is opened, and the vaporized gas, that is, the fuel gas is ejected from the jet nozzle 6. It is ejected into the throat pipe 3.

Due to the ejector effect, the fuel gas ejected from the ejection nozzle 6 has a constant primary air ratio due to the primary air sucked from the air intake port 13, which is determined by the hole diameter of the nozzle hole 6a and the throat diameter of the throat pipe 3. It becomes a mixed gas. Then, this mixed gas is ejected from the flame hole provided in the burner head 14 into the combustion tube (not shown),
It is ignited by an appropriate ignition source to form a primary flame 15 and further a secondary flame 15a, resulting in high-temperature combustion gas.

[Means for Solving the Problems] This invention supplies liquid fuel to a heated vaporizer, vaporizes it, jets out the vaporized gas into a throat pipe, mixes it with primary air by the ejector effect, and ignites the liquid to burn it. In the fuel combustion device, a groove running in the axial direction of the throat pipe is formed on substantially the entire circumference of the inner wall of the throat pipe.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS FIG. 1 is a sectional structural view of the vicinity of a throat pipe showing an embodiment of the present invention. The same reference numerals as those in FIG. 3 indicate the same or equivalent parts, and therefore the description will be omitted. The difference from FIG. 3 is that the throat tube 3 has a plurality of grooves running in the tube axis direction (vertical direction in the figure) over the entire circumference of the inner wall of the throat tube 3. FIG. 2 is a plan view of the top of the throat pipe 3 in FIG. 1. 3a is this groove, and each groove 3a has a depth and a width of about 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm.

The operation of the liquid fuel combustion device with this configuration is the same as the conventional one, but the groove 3a on the inner wall of the throat pipe 3 allows
The mixed gas of the vaporized gas from the jet nozzle 6 and the primary air from the air intake port 13 is rectified, and the jet noise at the jet nozzle 6 is reduced. It was found that the reduction effect was greater than that of using a sound absorbing material, and therefore, it was possible to improve the comfort when using a liquid fuel combustion device.
