Abstract

PURPOSE:To restitute a troubled elevator in failure of such type as permitting anybody unexpertized to manage with and thereby omit dispatch of a serviceman. CONSTITUTION:When a monitor center A has sensed that an elevator goes in failure, an appropriate announcement is given to the cage through an auto- announcing system as exhibited at S2. If it is judged at T2 as a minor degree trouble, a countermeasure is instructed by the monitor center to a manager or passengers through utilization of the talk function of a remote monitor device C, and he or they should manage recovering the elevator functions.

[0003] When a failure occurs in an elevator, a failure detection device installed in the elevator detects the abnormality, immediately reports the problem to the manager's office or the building management company's monitoring center, and repairs the inside of the car by using a telephone line or the like. It will be possible to talk to other passengers. Trapped passengers can relieve their anxiety by talking to outsiders and wait with peace of mind for the arrival of service personnel. Generally, when a service person arrives, the passengers are rescued and the elevator is restored.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the above-mentioned measures, when a failure occurs, a service person must always visit the site, take countermeasures, and restore the elevator. However, depending on the severity of the failure, it may be possible to restore the elevator with the help of someone other than an expert, but since the manager and passengers do not know how to deal with the problem, even if the failure is minor, it may be necessary to restore the elevator. We rushed to the scene and restored the elevator.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention equips an elevator with a failure detection device, and when a failure is detected, an automatic notification device notifies the building manager's office or the building management company's monitoring center. In this method, a remote monitoring system is installed that allows communication between the inside of the car and the outside. This method detects the location and conditions of failure in the elevator, and at least allows service personnel to take appropriate action. The system is equipped with a failure diagnosis device that classifies failure states into two types: when a serious accident occurs, which requires the assistance of a person other than an expert, and when a simple failure occurs, which can be handled by someone other than an expert. If the failure is determined to be a simple failure, the supervisor at the monitoring center will use the remote monitoring system to inform passengers and managers how to deal with the failure. The system was designed to provide guidance and help the elevator return to normal operation.

[Operation] When it is detected that a failure has occurred in the elevator, the failure diagnosis device determines whether a major failure or a simple failure has occurred based on the location of the failure and the situation of the failure. If it is determined that it is a simple failure, the passenger or manager will report it to the building management company's monitoring center and be able to communicate with the monitoring center, after which the supervisor at the monitoring center will determine the status of the failure and take countermeasures. Instruct. By taking the measures as instructed, passengers or managers can safely restore the elevator without having to rush a service person to the scene.

[0010] FIG. 2 shows an example of a remote monitoring system that constantly detects the status of equipment installed in a building, such as an elevator, and in the event of an abnormality, notifies the supervisor's office or the building management company's monitoring center. There is a monitoring center A that receives abnormality reports from many buildings, and an elevator remote monitoring device that is connected to the monitoring center A using telephone line B and installed in the building's manager's room, etc. C, the elevators D and E monitored by this elevator remote monitoring device C, and a control room F in which a telephone is installed that can communicate with the inside of the elevator cars of elevators D and E and can also report to the monitoring center. It is composed of A failure that occurs in the elevators D and E is detected by a failure detection unit provided in the elevator remote monitoring device C, and the elevator remote monitoring device C determines whether it is a major failure or a simple failure based on the location of the failure and the failure situation. The failure diagnosis section of the system makes a judgment and reports it to the monitoring center A as failure data.

[0012] First, a case where a power outage accident occurs and a passenger is stuck in a car will be explained as an example. S1 in FIG. 1 indicates a state in which a failure signal indicating a power outage is detected at the monitoring center. After that, as shown in S2, an auto-announcement will automatically be made to inform the inside of the car, ``An abnormality has occurred in the elevator. Please press the report button.''
The intercom installed in the control room rings. At the next T1, the content of the fault signal is determined by the fault diagnosis section within the remote monitoring device. If it is determined that a major failure has occurred, the remote monitoring device notifies the monitoring center, and the monitoring center that receives this notification informs the service personnel that they have been dispatched and instructs them to wait until they arrive, as shown in S3. . Thereafter, as shown in S8, the service man is dispatched in an emergency to rescue the passengers, and after the power is restored, the elevator operation is resumed as shown in S7.

Next, a failure state in which an elevator door does not close will be explained as an example. S1 in FIG. 1 shows a state in which a failure signal indicating that the door cannot be closed is detected at the monitoring center. Similar notification is made in the case described above, and when the failure diagnosis section determines that the failure is a minor failure at the next T1, the remote monitoring device determines at T2 whether the notification button in the car has been pressed. In this case, if there is a passenger in the car and presses the report button to report to the monitoring center as shown in S4, S5
The system is connected to a monitoring center and failure data is transmitted. Thereafter, the supervisor reports the failure state and informs that recovery is possible with simple measures, and in S6 the monitoring center instructs how to recover. When the monitoring center side confirms that the elevator has returned to normal operation at T5, it resumes normal operation of the elevator as shown at S7. On the other hand, if recovery is not possible at T5, a service person is dispatched in an emergency as shown in S8. Also, if there are no passengers in the car at T2 and the report button is not pressed, and the manager reports to the monitoring center S4 at T3, it connects to the monitoring center at S5 and reports the failure condition in the same manner as described above, and then returns to the monitoring center at S6. Provide guidance on how to return from the side. When the monitoring center side confirms that the elevator has returned to normal operation at T5, it resumes normal operation of the elevator. In addition, if there are no passengers in the car at T2 and the report button is not pressed, and there is no report from the manager at T3, confirm that a predetermined period of time has passed since the failure occurred at T4, and call a service person as shown in S8. Emergency dispatch. In addition, within a predetermined time period after the occurrence of the failure shown in T4, the system waits for a report from inside the car or from the caretaker.

As described above, according to this embodiment, if the remote monitoring device determines that it is a simple failure that can be recovered by non-specialist after a failure occurs, the supervisor at the monitoring center will notify the manager or the passenger. By instructing the customer on how to restore the elevator, it is possible to restore the elevator without calling a service person.

[0015] Furthermore, if it is determined that the malfunction can only be repaired by a specialist, a request is immediately made to the monitoring center for a service person to be dispatched, and at the same time, the passenger in the car is You can tell them that someone has been dispatched and let them wait with peace of mind.
