Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a simply-structured and light-weighted space umbilical connector with less shock at the time of latching. CONSTITUTION:A docking side connector 4 is positioned by guiding its protruding taper by the recessed taper guide of a receiving side connector 1. An electric signal connecting pin 6 is guided by a hook part taper guide part 7 and brought into contact with an electric signal connecting hook 3. Latching is conducted by the magnetic force of a magnet 10 fixed to the electric signal connecting hook 3. A spring 8 and a leaf spring 9 reduce the shock at the time of latching.

ク部テーパ案内部7によりガイドされ、電気信号接続フ
ック3に接触する。電気信号接続フック3は、スプリン
グ8と板ばね9とにより支えられており、接続後には、
図3に示す様にスプリング8と板バネ9で押されて電気
信号接続ピン6と接し、また、周囲に配置したマグネッ
ト10により磁性体からなる電気信号接続ピン6にラッ
チされる。また、電気信号接続フック3は、ストッパー
11により、受手側コネクタ1から脱落しないように支
持されている。
