Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve air permeability, prevent the occurrence of an allergy source such as atopic dermatitis, and remove it by forming head sections of pile threads into small lumps via heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:The feet of pile threads 4 made of chemical fibers are woven or knitted short. The back face of a ground fabric 1 may be coated with a coating material 6 made of synthetic resin. Since the feet of the pile threads 4 are short, there is little danger that the pile threads 4 are prostrated, and head sections of the pile threads 4 can be heat-melted to form small melted lumps 5 without providing a coating layer. Shapes of the small melted lumps 5 are nonconstant and various, and their peripheries have complex irregular shapes or rugged shapes. The pile threads 4 are not opened.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to the improvement of rugs using pile woven or knitted pile fabrics for indoor use. In particular, the above-mentioned conventional rugs have a structure that is not suitable for summer, so the present invention aims to provide an improved rug that is especially suitable for summer.

[Prior Art] Conventional rugs using pile woven fabrics or pile knitted fabrics are finished by dehairing the tips of the pile yarns, so that the dust that has gotten into the base of the pile yarns is removed by the suction power of a vacuum cleaner. Therefore, not only the back side of the carpet base fabric but also the base of the pile yarn becomes a habitat for dust mites, etc., which is a source of allergy for atopic dermatitis, which is currently a social problem. It is well known that they are one in the same. In particular, because the same carpet is often used throughout the seasons, there is a problem that the feet get hot in the summer and there are many dust mites. Furthermore, this kind of rug is difficult to wash when it gets dirty, and when the rug gets dirty, it is best to wipe it off from the top of the pile yarns, but it is not possible to completely wipe away the dirt from the base of the pile yarns.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In view of the problems of the conventional rugs mentioned above, the present invention aims to completely maintain the air permeability of the entire pile yarn part and to improve the air permeability of the pile yarns, especially for rugs using pile fabrics used in the summer. To provide a rug that can be easily cleaned and washed up to the base, completely suppresses the accumulation of dust and the inhabitation of dust mites, and is easy to wipe and wash when the rug becomes dirty.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention provides for a pile fabric or a pile knit fabric in which, during finishing processing after weaving or knitting, pile yarns made of chemical fibers are dissolved in the pile yarns, regardless of whether they are monofilament or filament. This rug is constructed using a pile woven fabric or a pile knitted fabric, which is characterized in that the head of the pile yarn is formed into small lumps by heat melting without undergoing wool processing.

[Example] Fig. 1 is an explanatory cross-sectional view of the first example of the rug of the present invention, where (1) is the base fabric, and (2) and (3) are the base fabric (1).
(4) is a pile yarn made of chemical fiber, and (5) is a small lump formed at the head of the pile yarn (4) by heat melting. The pile yarn (4) may be either monofilament or filament. In the case of the rug (A) shown in this example, the legs of the pile yarn (4) are woven or knitted in short lengths, and the back side of the base fabric (1) is coated with a synthetic resin coating material (6). Although it is coated, this coating is not necessarily required. (
10) is a space created between the base fabric (1) and the molten lump (5).

In pile woven or knitted fabrics, there is a problem that if the pile yarn has a high foot, the pile yarn is likely to fall down when stepped on during use.To prevent this, pile yarn is A coating layer may be formed at the base, but in this example, since the legs of the pile yarn are short, there is very little risk of pile yarn collapse, and the pile yarn (4) can be formed without providing the coating layer. The head is melted by heat to provide a melted lump (5).

[0007] The shape of the molten lump (5) is not constant and is diverse;
Its peripheral surface exhibits a complex uneven or jagged shape. Furthermore, if the pile yarn (4) is dehaired by a conventional method and its head is melted, a molten lump surface is formed on the entire surface of the woven or knitted fabric or in the form of a large block, and the object of the present invention is not achieved. Therefore, the pile yarn (4) is not dehaired. Note that (8) in the figure shows the edging of the rug.

FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, in which a foot-high pile yarn (4
') Pile woven or pile knitted rug (B)
Since the foot-high pile yarn (4') has a tendency to collapse due to stepping on it during use, a coating layer ( Fig. 7 is an explanatory cross-sectional view of the rug (B) showing the case in which the coating layer (7) is formed, and when the coating material dries, the layer ( 7), a vertical crack hole (9) is formed. Although not shown, a soft synthetic resin material is coated on the back of the base fabric for reinforcement or anti-slip purposes.
You may also ting. Also, due to the presence of the coating layer (7), the legs of the pile yarn (4') are substantially shortened, and the molten lump (5') formed at the head of the pile yarn (4') is shortened. ) is similar to the embodiment shown in FIG. In the figure, (8') shows the edging of the rug (B), (2') is the weft, (3') is the warp, and (10') is the coating layer (7) and the molten lump ( 5').

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the rug of the present invention has its head part made into small lumps by heat melting without dehairing the upper part of the pile yarn, so it is completely different from conventional rugs of this kind. It is a rug that gives a feeling of coolness rather than warmth as a rug, and is ideal as a rug for summer season.

Next, due to the structure of this rug, an appropriate space is formed between the base fabric and the molten lump at the head of the pile yarn, and the rising portions (legs) of the pile yarn are of course monofilament. Even in the case of filament, it is difficult to collapse even when pressure is applied from above such as being stepped on because the hair is not decomposed, and therefore it has extremely high air permeability, resulting in bacterial growth and atopic dermatitis at the base of the pile (surface of the base fabric). It has the great effect of suppressing the occurrence of mites, which are the source of allergens such as. In the case of the embodiment shown in FIG.
′), it does not reduce the above effect because it ensures air permeability. In addition, since the pile yarn is not loosened, it is convenient for wiping dirt and washing, and not only does it have the effect of removing dirt easily, but also the dust that accumulates at the base of the pile yarn can be removed with a vacuum cleaner. It can also be easily blown off or washed away with water, and dried quickly. Therefore, it has many advantages, such as being ideal as a rug for kitchens, nursery rooms, and even rooms where floors or tatami mats are likely to get dirty or where work is performed that generates a lot of dust.
