液としての保存時の安定性も優れていることが必要であ
り、従って使用できる溶剤が著しく制限される。2. 本発明の要旨は、水性媒体と前記請求項1において一般
式〔I〕で表わされる染料の少くとも1種を含有する記
録液に存する。以下本発明を詳細に説明する。一般式〔
I〕においてMで示されるアルカリ金属としてはNa,
K,Li等が挙げられ、また有機アミン塩の例としては
、アンモニウム基の3個もしくは4個の水素原子が、炭
素数1〜4のアルキル基及び/又は炭素数1〜4のヒド
ロキシアルキル基で置換された基が挙げられる。
これ等の染料の具体例としては、例えば以下の(イ)〜

〔I〕の染料の含有量としては、記録液全量に対して0
.5〜5重量%、特に2〜4重量%程度が好ましい。
本発明の記録液に用いられる溶剤としては、水及び水溶
性有機溶剤として、例えばエチレングリコール、プロピ
レングリコール、ブチレングリコール、ジエチレングリ
コール、トリエチレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコ
ール(#200)、ポリエチレングリコール(#400
)、グリセリン、N−メチル−ピロリドン、N−エチル
−ピロリドン、1,3−ジメチル−イミダゾリジノン、
エチレングリコールモノアリルエーテル、エチレングリ
コールモノメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールモノ
メチルエーテル等を含有しているのが好ましい。これ等
の水溶性有機溶剤は、通常記録液の全量に対して10〜
50重量%の範囲で使用される。一方、水は記録紙の全

スガ試験機社製)を用い、記録紙に100時間照射した
