Traditionally, rubberized fabrics are made by applying adhesive to a base fabric made of synthetic fibers such as nylon or polyester, or cellulose fibers such as cotton or cotton, such as plain weave or twill weave, with a thickness of 0.05 to 0.5 mm. Film-like rubber mixed with vulcanizing agent is laminated using a calendar roll, and the surface of the rubber film is dusted with fine powder such as starch or talc. The powder is then swept off to prevent blocking of the laminated sheet. while doing,
After producing unvulcanized rubberized cloth, then 140~160℃
It is manufactured by vulcanization in a pin tenter vulcanization furnace that injects hot air.

In addition, the dusting powder prevents blocking of the unvulcanized rubber-coated cloth, and depending on the type of dusting powder,
The rubber surface of a rubberized cloth can be made into a glossy surface or a suede-like matte surface to improve the surface lubricity.

The rubberized cloth obtained in this manner has the disadvantage that when the rubberized surface is squeezed with a fingernail, the dust particles separate from the rubber surface and stand out, easily damaging the rubber surface.

Due to the disadvantage that this surface is easily scratched,
Flour-coated rubberized cloth, which has a glossy or matte surface that looks luxurious at first glance, is only used for materials that do not require particular attention to appearance, such as labor raincoats.
It was rarely used as leather for regular outer clothing or bags, and its uses were limited.

A method of forming a synthetic resin coating on the surface of dusted rubberized cloth has been proposed as a method to improve the ease with which it scratches. The reality is that almost no products are produced using this method, as it cannot compete with vinyl or polyurethane fabrics.

However, this powdered rubberized fabric has advantages that vinyl chloride and polyurethane fabrics do not have, so the emergence of an inexpensive rubberized fabric that is resistant to scratches has been long awaited.

The silicone film in the present invention is made by applying a reactive silicone agent consisting of a silicone resin as a main ingredient, a silane coupling agent, a catalyst, and a diluting solvent to the rubber surface of a vulcanized rubber-coated cloth that has a dusting layer on the surface. After processing, it is cured by crosslinking reaction.

The rubber-coated fabric of the present invention has a cross-linked silicone film coated on the powdered rubber surface, so it is extremely scratch-resistant and has good surface lubricity even though it has been powdered. Depending on the type of flour applied, a variety of glossy and matte rubberized fabrics can be produced with a luxurious feel. Since it is particularly resistant to scratches, it is suitable for use in high-grade outer garments, bag leather, etc., which were not used with conventional powdered rubber-coated fabrics, and since it is inexpensive, its uses can be greatly expanded.
