Such inorganic fiber mats are used in order to eliminate the irritation (tingling) of the fibers and improve workability, and to improve moisture-proofing and dew-proofing properties.
Generally, on one or both sides of the pine, and in some cases on the sides, surface materials such as plastic film, aluminum-deposited plastic film, kraft paper, polyethylene sheet, etc. are applied to asphalt, vinyl acetate, attacking polypropylene (APP),
It is used by adhering with an adhesive such as ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and coating the surface.

However, although the inorganic fibers themselves are flame-retardant, the inorganic fiber mat covered with a surface material is generally flammable (even with aluminum-deposited plastic film, the thickness of the aluminum-deposited is flammable due to its thinness), and
The adhesive used to bond the surface materials is a petroleum product and is easily flammable, so it is vulnerable to flames and could be ignited by welding fire during construction or a worker's cigarette.

In order to make such coated inorganic fiber mats flame retardant, it is conceivable to adhere the surface material using an adhesive made of a flame retardant polymer that is itself flame retardant. Such adhesives are extremely expensive and increase the product cost, making this method undesirable. It is also possible to use thin aluminum plates as the surface material, but
Aluminum is extremely expensive, and even if an aluminum surface material is required for the intended use of the pine, the amount of aluminum used should be kept as low as possible, so this method could not be considered an advantageous method.

The adhesive may be any adhesive such as a resin adhesive or a rubber adhesive that can bond the surface material to the inorganic fiber mat or the surface material to the surface material. For example, a hot melt type adhesive may be used. Examples include polypropylene (APP), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), vinyl acetate, and asphalt. Among these, asphalt is particularly preferred because it has excellent moisture resistance and is inexpensive.

The amount of the flame retardant to be added is preferably about 5 to 30% by weight of the additive base material, whether added to kraft paper or adhesive. If the amount added is too small, the effect of improving the flame retardant will be small, and if it is too large, it will affect the physical properties of the kraft paper or adhesive, which is not preferable.

In the present invention, the above-mentioned flame retardant is mixed into the kraft paper and adhesive constituting the surface material, and then the surface material is adhered to and coated with glass wool mat. The method of adhering the surface material may be any normally adopted method, and when the surface material is provided on one or both sides as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the bonding method between the glass wool mat 1 and the surface material 3 Adhesion is made by interposing adhesive 2. In addition, as shown in FIGS. 3a to 3c, when providing a surface material on the side surfaces, the top and side surfaces of the pine 1 are covered with one surface material, and this surface material is used as the surface material that covers the bottom surface. It is preferable to bond with. That is, in FIG. 3a, the adhesive 2 is applied to the top and bottom surfaces of the pine 1, and the surface material 3 that covers the top and side surfaces and the surface material 3b that covers the bottom surface are heat-sealed or bonded at the edge A. In Fig. 3b, the surface material 3a covering the top and side surfaces of the mat 1 is bent so as to cover both ends of the bottom surface, and then the bottom surface is bonded with adhesive 2. Covering surface material 3b
FIG. 3c shows a top covering material 3a covering the top and side surfaces of the pine 1, and a top covering material 3a covering the bottom surface of the pine 1.
