Abstract

PURPOSE:To supply an unwrinkled cloth to an automatic cutting device by putting the cloth in slide contact with the face of a roller which rotates at a speed different from an original cloth drum and a drive roller and providing an unwrinkling roller for removing wrinkles from the cloth. CONSTITUTION:By the rotation of an unwrinkling roller 6 with delay or reverse to a drive roller 3 and an original cloth drum 1c, a cloth la is subject to upward sagging right before the unwrinkling roller 6, and the 'sagging' portion 1e is to be strained in the area of the unwrinkling roller 6 to remove wrinkles 1d. That is, the sagging portion of the cloth la coming near to the area of the unwrinkling roller 6 is pulled to a cloth feed direction because the cloth feed amount of the unwrinkling roller 6 is different from that of the drive roller 3, to dissolve the wrinkles 1d.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the above-mentioned conventional technology, the fabric with wrinkles that occur while the fabric is fed out from the original fabric and reaches the drive roller is not sent to the work table of the automatic cutting device. In some cases, it may be cut as is.

For this reason, in the past, people had to monitor the occurrence of wrinkles, and when wrinkles occurred, they took measures such as stopping the machine and smoothing out the wrinkles by hand, or increasing the accuracy with which the driving rollers clamped the fabric. However, the former method, that is, manually removing wrinkles, hinders the automation of the sewing process and increases sewing costs, while the latter method has the problem that the desired wrinkle removing effect cannot be expected.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention provides three fabric supply mechanisms for automatic cutting devices, etc.
A drive roller for sending the raw fabric wound around the M fabric drum to a predetermined work process, and a drive roller provided between the fabric and the drive roller, which rotates the fabric at a speed different from that of the fabric drum and the drive roller. This invention attempts to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems by providing a wrinkle removing roller for removing wrinkles from the fabric by slidingly contacting the surface of the roller.

[Operation] In the fabric supply mechanism according to the present invention, the fabric is deflected upward just before the wrinkle removing roller due to slow rotation or reverse rotation of the wrinkle removing roller with respect to the drive roller and the fabric drum, and this "deflection" portion is caused by the wrinkle removing roller. The area is expanded to remove wrinkles.

That is, the sagging portion of the fabric that approaches the wrinkle removing roller is pulled in the cloth feeding direction due to the difference in the amount of cloth feeding between the wrinkle removing roller and the driving roller, and the wrinkles are removed.

The wrinkle removing roller 6 is controlled to be able to rotate in either the forward or reverse direction with a variable rotational speed, so that the fabric 1a is fed in the opposite direction to the fabric feeding direction of the fabric tram lc and the drive roller 3. Alternatively, when the cloth drum 1c and the cloth are fed in the same direction as the driving roller 3, the cloth is fed at a slower speed.

In the figure, 6a is a helical groove formed on one side (left side in the figure) from the center 6C of the roller, and 6b is a helical groove similarly formed on the other side (right side in the figure). Since the cloth is stretched on both sides of the center 6c of the roller, the wrinkles in the cloth are corrected.

The fabric 1a is first stretched in the Y-axis direction by the wrinkle removing roller 6, and wrinkles ld in the fabric feeding direction are corrected. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, when the wrinkle removing roller 6 rotates in the reverse direction, a bend 1e is generated in the fabric 1a in the immediate vicinity of the wrinkle removing roller 6, and the fabric 1a bulges upward, causing the wrinkle 1d to elongate and become wrinkled. Since it comes into sliding contact with the removing roller 6 and is then pulled between the wrinkle removing roller 6 and the driving roller 3, a predetermined amount of wrinkles can be removed.

The wrinkle removing roller 6 and the driving roller 3 are rotating in the X-axis direction, but as the fabric 1a is pulled, a force is also applied in the Y-axis direction, and wrinkles 1d (in the Y-axis direction) are also removed. Ru.

According to experiments, the wrinkle removing roller 6 is rotated in the direction opposite to the cloth feeding direction of the fabric drum and drive roller when the fabric is stretchable, or in the opposite direction when the fabric is non-stretchable. Favorable results were obtained when rotating at the same speed, that is, in the forward direction.
