Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of structural parts of a connector, and also to make an interconnection between circuit substrates simultaneously with mounting the connector onto each of the circuit substrates by planting female and male terminals respectively in their relevant block bodies, and then making such structure that the two block bodies can be united with each other via the relevant terminals. CONSTITUTION:Each of male terminals 5 is arranged across an engaging block 8 and a fixed block 9 both of which construct a male-side block 2, and contact portions 10 are respectively mounted into the block 8 while terminal legs 11 are respectively mounted into the block 9, and the contact portions and the terminal legs are conjoined via bent portions 12. Each of fork terminals 7 mounted into an engaging body is connected in a cross shape to the male terminal 5, and the male terminal can slide even if printed circuit boards 17a, 17b are interconnected in proximity to or at a distance from each other via a connector so that the terminal 5 and the terminal 7 may always keep mutual contact conditions. In this manner, the two substrates can be interconnected simultaneously by mounting the connector onto each of the circuit substrates so as to cope with the dimensional dislocation of the connector due to an error in installing it, and further so as to reduce the number of structural parts of the connector.

EXAMPLE Hereinafter, an example of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. FIG. 1 shows 3 according to one embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a connector assembly 1 of the connector assembly 1, which is composed of a male side block body 2 a female side block body 3;
The male block body 2 is composed of a male insulator 4 and a male terminal 5, and the female block body 3 is composed of a female insulator 6 and one or more fork terminals 7. Fig. 2 is a partially fragmented perspective view of the female block body 3, Fig. 3 is a sectional view of the male block body 2 and female block body 3 in a fitted state, and Fig. 4 is a male block body. 2 and a female block body 3 are fitted together. FIG. In FIG. 1, the male terminal 5 is inserted between the fitting block body 8 and the fixed block body 9 that constitute the male block body 2, and one end on the opposite side of the contact portion 10 is inserted into the fitting block body 8. , one end on the opposite side of the terminal leg 11 is attached to the fixed block body 9. The bent portion 12 connecting one end on the opposite side of the contact portion 10 and one end on the opposite side of the terminal leg 11 is formed by two thin partitions 13 each provided between the fitting flock body 8 and the fixed block body 9. The partition portions 13 are provided in parallel to each other, and the purpose of this partition portion 13 is to connect the fitting block body 8 and the fixed block body 9, and to insulate the male terminals 5 from each other. It does not restrict movement. Further, in the female block body 3, a large tapered portion 15 is provided at the upper edge of the terminal insertion opening 14, so that the tip of the contact portion 10 of the male terminal 5 can be easily inserted. Next, in FIG. 2, a fork terminal 7 having a fork-shaped contact portion 16 is implanted in the female block body 3 so as to connect with the male terminal 5 in a cross shape when the male terminal 5 is inserted. the direction in which the male terminal 5 is inserted into the terminal insertion opening 14;
That is, the cross-shaped longitudinal opening is longer than the width of the contact portion 10 of the male terminal 5, and furthermore, the cross-shaped opening in the longitudinal direction is longer than the width of the contact portion 10 of the male terminal 5.
By opening one side, the male terminal 5 can slide in the direction of the arrow as shown in FIG. 3, even if the two printed circuit boards 17a and 17b are connected closely. Since the connector can be moved with ease, no excessive force is applied to the connector structure. Furthermore, as described above, even when the printed circuit boards 17a and 17b are connected slightly apart in the connection direction, since the contact portion 10 of the male terminal 5 is provided wider than the female contact portion 16, the male side terminal 5 and the female terminal 7 always maintain a contact state, and the electrical connection is never broken. Next, as shown in Figure 4,
When mating the connector, if the male block body 2 and the female block body 3 become blurred in the direction of the arrow, that is, in the direction of 90 degrees with respect to the connection direction of the printed circuit board 17a17b, the male terminal 5 may be bent. The portion 12 and the partition portion 13 have flexibility and absorb stress caused by the above-mentioned deviation.
No excessive force is applied to the printed circuit board, connector structure, terminals, etc.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the embodiments described above, according to the connector of the present invention, the connector is composed of two block bodies each having a terminal embedded therein, and the connector can be mounted on two printed circuit boards or the like at the same time. Two circuit boards can be connected, and dimensional deviations due to installation errors between the two circuit boards can be absorbed, making it compatible with automatic assembly.Furthermore, costs can be reduced by reducing the number of parts that make up the connector. This will give you the effect that you can do it.
