ツトにて締付固定する際、その締付固定部にシム
を介在させてリツド3の高さ位置の微調整を行わ
なければならず、従来は第5図に示すようにボル
トへの挿込溝9aを複数条(通常は2条)設けた
薄板よりなるシム9をボルトによる締付固定部に
挿し込み該ボルトにナツトを螺合締付けて固定す
るのが普通である。

た状態に回動させてインパクトレンチ等のエア工
具を用いてナツトの締付作業を行うのが一般的で
ある。従つて第5図に示すような従来のシムでは
上記のようにシムをボルトによる締付部に挿し込
んでからナツトで締付けるまでの間に、フレーム
1の回動やエア工具での締付け時の振動等によつ
て一旦挿し込みセツトしたシムが大きくずれて一
部がはずれてしまつたり或は脱落してしまつたり
するようなことがおこりがちであり、シムの一部
がはずれたり或は完全に脱落したことに気付かな
いで組付けてしまうと、サンルーフアツセンブリ
を車体に取付けたときリツド全閉状態でリツドと
開口部周辺のルーフとの間に上下方向のずれが生
じて雨漏れが発生する等の問題がおこる。

部93を通つて円形穴94内に嵌り、円形穴94
の径は上記したようにボルト7の径より大である
ので、シム9は自重で下方にずれ、第3図の鎖線
示のようにボルト7が円形穴94の上縁に接した
状態となるようになつている。

とから組付作業性の著しい向上をもたし得るもの
で、実用的効果極めて大なるものである。
