Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the sticking of cooling oil to a material to be heat-treated during heating in a heat treatment process. CONSTITUTION:In a vessel for heat treatment which is applied to a heat treatment furnace composed of an oil cooling chamber and a heating chamber and loads the material to be heat-treated and is composed of a frame construction 1 and a mesh metal 2, space is disposed between the lowest face of the frame construction sticking the cooling oil and the bottom face part of mesh metal loading the material to be heat-treated. The cooling oil stuck to the lower face part of the frame construction is diffused into the space in the atmosphere during heating and scarcely stuck to the material to be heat-treated set at the bottom face of the mesh metal.

[Prior Art] Heat treatments such as annealing, normalizing, quenching, and tempering are carried out on objects to be heat treated by placing them in a heat treatment container in a heat treatment furnace that has an oil cooling chamber and a heating chamber. When performing heat treatment using a heat treatment furnace that is inserted into a heating chamber from a cold room and heated in an atmosphere, as shown in Figure 3, each of the five sides of the hexahedron of the heat treatment container, excluding the top surface, is assembled with mesh metal 2. The object to be heat treated is placed directly on the bottom surface thereof, and the heat treatment container 9 is first placed in an oil cooling chamber. At this time, the bottom surface of the heat treatment container 9 is in direct contact with the oil cooling chamber. Next, it is transported to a heating chamber and heated in an atmosphere, and from that state it is cooled in a furnace.
Cool it with gas, or cool it with oil after taking it out to the oil cooling room again. These series of cycles were repeated for each heat treatment.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the heat treatment container as described above, when the heat treatment container carrying the object to be heat treated is carried into the oil cooling chamber, the cooling oil used for cooling in the oil cooling chamber becomes oily. If the cooling oil adheres to the bottom of the heat treatment container that comes into contact with the cold room and is then carried into the heating chamber and heated in the atmosphere, the cooling oil that adheres to the bottom of the heat treatment container evaporates during heating, causing the heat treatment container to evaporate. Cooling oil adheres to the heat-treated object placed directly on the bottom of the heat-treated object and diffuses into the heat-treated object, causing discoloration on the surface of the heat-treated object and a deterioration layer on the surface layer of the heat-treated object, resulting in decoration. It had the disadvantage of poor physical properties and mechanical properties.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, in the present invention, the bottom surface of a heat treatment container made of mesh metal on each of the five sides of the hexahedron except for the top surface is arranged in a cooling chamber. In order to prevent direct contact with the bottom of the heat treatment container, a framework, mesh surface, or plate may be provided to leave space below the bottom of the heat treatment container, or a bottom surface may be placed further above the bottom of the heat treatment container. A mesh-like metal surface is arranged to leave a space, and the object to be heat-treated is placed on it, so that the surface on which the object to be heat-treated is placed does not come into direct contact with the cooling chamber.

[Function] According to the above structure, when the heat treatment container containing the object to be heat treated is carried into the oil cooling chamber of the heat treatment furnace, cooling oil adheres to the lowest part of the heat treatment container. Since there is a space between the part where the heat treatment object is attached and the surface on which the object to be heat treated is placed, if the heat treatment container is carried into the heating chamber in this state and heated in the atmosphere, the cooling that evaporated during heating will be removed. The oil diffuses into the atmosphere before reaching the surface of the object to be heat treated, and can prevent the cooling oil from diffusing into the object to be heat treated.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Examples of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a heat treatment container of the present invention. The heat treatment container is composed of one frame and two mesh metals, and five sides of the upper hexahedron, excluding the top surface, are made of mesh metal, and a frame is further attached to the lower part of the hexahedron. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the heat treatment container of the present invention, in which an object to be heat treated is placed on a mesh metal. The object to be heat treated 3 is placed on the bottom surface 1a of the upper hexahedron of the heat treatment container, and when carried into the oil cooling chamber, a space 1b is left between it and the lowest part of the heat treatment container that comes into contact with the oil cooling chamber. .

FIG. 4 is a sectional view schematically showing a heat treatment apparatus to which the container according to the present invention is applied. The heat treatment apparatus consists of an oil cooling chamber 4 containing cooling oil 6 and a heating chamber 5. To show an example of the heat treatment process, from the loading port 10 to the heat treatment container 9
is placed in the oil cooling chamber 4, then carried into the heating chamber 5 through the intermediate door 7, heated in the atmosphere, and then carried out again to the oil cooling chamber 4 and immersed in the cooling oil 6. When a heat treatment container is immersed in cooling oil, the cooling oil evaporates and the oil cooling chamber is filled with cooling oil.
Cooling oil adheres to the container stand. When this step is performed using the heat treatment container of the present invention, even if the cooling oil adhering to the contact surface of the container stand and the heat treatment container evaporates during heating, there will be a gap between the bottom surface 1a and the container stand 11. There is a space 1b, and the cooling oil is diffused into the atmosphere, so that almost no cooling oil adheres to the object to be heat-treated and no quality deterioration occurs. Especially when titanium is used as the material to be heat treated, titanium is a very active metal, so
The material deteriorates even if a small amount of cooling oil adheres to it, so it was particularly effective in such applications.
