[0003] However, although these fabrics using only hydrophilic fibers have good sweat absorption and heat dissipation properties, they retain excessive moisture, so when used as clothing, It tends to get sticky and stuffy and is not very comfortable. In addition, when using hydrophobic fibers that have water absorption properties, the fibers themselves do not retain water, so the amount of sweat absorption is insufficient, and when worn as clothing,
Sweat remains between your clothes and your body, making it uncomfortable. Furthermore, in the case of a fabric that is a composite of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers, the above effects are not improved, and when this fabric is used as clothing, it tends to become sticky and stuffy, making it not very comfortable. There was a problem.

[0006] Hydrophilic fabrics used in the present invention include cotton, linen, cupro, rayon, and the like. These fibers have a high moisture content, moisture absorption and release properties, and high thermal conductivity. For this reason, when fabrics made of these materials are worn as clothing, they allow the heat radiated from the body to escape, and when you sweat, they quickly absorb sweat. In a wearing experiment conducted by the present inventors, in order for the wearer to feel comfortable without trapping heat and preventing sweat from accumulating between the clothing and the body, the total area of the hydrophilic fibers exposed on the skin side surface must be It needs to account for 20% or more; if it is less than 20%, heat will be trapped and sweat absorption will be poor, making it not comfortable.

[0007] Heat dissipation is also affected by the composition of the fibers, and a composition with a small number of air layers with low thermal conductivity allows heat to dissipate more easily. That is, filament yarns with less fuzz are preferably used. Also, it is desirable that the structure be dense. Next, the fabric of the present invention is characterized in that it contains 20 or more hydrophobic fibers having irregular cross-sections per 100 hydrophilic fibers, and the hydrophilic fibers and the irregular cross-section fibers are in contact with each other. Hydrophobic fibers with irregular cross sections include L-shaped cross sections;
It is a cross-shaped fiber, and its materials include nylon and polyester.

[0008] Hydrophobic fibers having irregular cross-sections include concave portions, so water is easily trapped in the concave portions and water is easily diffused therein. Also, unlike hydrophilic fibers, it retains water through the physical effects of its shape, so it has excellent quick-drying properties. This performance is good when the weight ratio of hydrophobic fibers having irregular cross sections is 20 or more, preferably 30 or more, to 100 parts of hydrophilic fibers. Hydrophobic fibers with irregular cross sections are hydrophilic fibers 1
00, whereas if it is less than 20, the diffusion ability of the hydrophobic fibers with irregular cross sections is inferior to the water absorption ability of the hydrophilic fibers, and as a result, the amount of water absorption decreases and the water retained by the hydrophilic fibers is large. This is because when worn as clothing, it becomes sticky and stuffy, which is undesirable.

[0009] Furthermore, when considering the structure in terms of knitted structure, woven structure, etc., if there is a large deviation in the distribution of hydrophilic fibers and irregular cross-section fibers in the fabric, when worn as clothing,
Water absorption and diffusion performance does not work well. In order to take advantage of this function, any part of the fabric must be approximately 10cm x 10cm.
The area of hydrophilic fibers is 20% or more of the total area of fibers exposed on the surface of the fabric of m, and the area is approximately 10 cm x 10 cm.
It is desirable that the weight of the hydrophobic fibers having irregular cross sections be 20 or more per 100 of the weight of the hydrophilic fibers in a fabric of 1.5 cm.

Furthermore, since the present invention is characterized in that hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers having irregular cross sections are in contact with each other,
The hydrophobic fibers with irregular cross sections diffuse the water absorbed by the hydrophilic fibers, and due to the diffusion, it is possible to dry quickly. Therefore, when this fabric is worn as clothing, sweat does not accumulate between the clothing and the body, making it less stuffy and comfortable. The contacting methods include a method of combining and twisting hydrophilic fibers and irregular cross-section fibers, a method of mixing hydrophilic fibers and irregular cross-section fibers to form a single fiber, or a method of making hydrophilic fibers into warp yarns and twisting them into a single fiber. Examples include a method in which cross-sectional fibers are made into weft threads and interwoven, and a method in which hydrophilic fibers and irregular cross-sectional fibers are knitted together. In particular, hydrophilic fibers and irregular cross-section yarns are
Those twisted and twisted 00 to 700 times are preferable, and since the contact area is large, the effect of diffusing water is also large, so it is preferable.

[0011] In addition, ordinary polyester fibers are preferably used for the portions of the fabric of the present invention other than the hydrophilic fibers and irregular cross-section fibers, but in order to improve heat dissipation properties, it is necessary to use hydrophilic fibers and other fibers. The sum of the weights of the hydrophobic fibers having irregular cross sections is preferably 20 or more per 100 of the weight of the fabric. The appropriate weight of the fabric is 70 to 250 g/m2, and the structure is preferably dense with few air spaces. Furthermore, when the fabric of the present invention is used as a part of clothing, it is preferably 30% or more of the weight of the clothing,
It is especially effective when used on areas that sweat a lot, such as the chest and back.

Furthermore, to prevent the sample fabric from sagging, an acrylic plate or the like having a square hole of about 20 cm x 20 cm is placed with about 5 strands of 150 d polyester monofilament thread strung vertically and horizontally. Furthermore, place a 15cm x 15cm sample fabric on top of that, and a 15cm x 15cm sample fabric.

Glue the specimen with double-sided tape to a sample fixing plate with an M-sized square hole and place it with the skin side facing down. Attach the spacer and sample sufficiently with tape, etc. to prevent heat leakage. In that state, maintain the wind speed at 10 cm/min, and place the hot plate at room temperature + 10°C.
The heat loss (W) when maintaining the temperature is calculated from the average value of the three measurement samples using the following formula.

[Effects of the Invention] The fabric of the present invention has excellent heat dissipation and water absorption properties because the hydrophilic fibers account for 20% or more of the total area of the fibers exposed on one surface. In addition, the weight of the hydrophobic fibers having irregular cross sections is 20 or more per 100 weight of the hydrophilic fibers, and since the hydrophilic fibers and the hydrophobic fibers having irregular cross sections are in contact with each other, water is absorbed by the hydrophilic fibers. Hydrophobic fibers with irregular cross sections can effectively diffuse and release water. Therefore, when the fabric of the present invention is worn as clothing, heat is not trapped, and even if the fabric sweats, it quickly absorbs sweat, and the inside of the clothing does not get stuffy, making it possible to keep the clothing comfortable.
