となつており、切刃5の上面は内方向に下り傾斜
すると共に、該切刃5に沿つた狭幅のランド7を
残してその内側に若干の深さ(例えば、0.05〜
0.5mm)を有しかつ後述する巻込み用凹部9の方
向に下り傾斜した切削屑用の送出溝8が形成さ
れ、該送出溝8に連続して上面のネジ切り方向側
に該送出溝8よりも深い摺り鉢状の上方拡開曲面
を有した切削屑の巻込み用凹部9が、ネジ切り方
向側のチツプ側面上部を一部切欠くようにして形
成され、該切欠き部分は側面開口部10となつて
いる。上記巻込み用凹部9は、その凹底部9aが
切刃5の二等分線(仮想線)Xよりも進行方向側
に形成され、該凹部内の周面が該凹底部に向かつ
て下り傾斜面として形成されている。
