Abstract

PURPOSE:To dispose of an active sludge and a waste oil by incineration. CONSTITUTION:A mixture. of an active sludge and a waste oil in a slurry is introduced into a dry quenching apparatus for red-hot coke in such a way that the mixture is brought into contact with the red-hot coke to perform simultaneously cooling and quenching of the red-hot coke, incineration of the active sluge and pyrolysis of the waste oil. It is thereby possible to dispose of the active sludge and the waste oil without decreasing the amount of steam generation of the dry quenching apparatus for the red-hot coke and the yield of the coke.

クスを冷却する。冷却されたコークスはコークス乾式消
火装置21の下部から取り出されるが、熱交換して高温
になった冷却用ガスは、循環配管22の途中に設けた熱
交換器24に入り、冷却水供給設備25により供給され
る冷却水と熱交換して低温となり、再び赤熱コークス冷
却用として使用される。一方、冷却水は熱交換により蒸
気となり、工場操業用の加熱源として使用される。
