膨出部を設けたことを特徴とするインタンク型燃
料ポンプ装置。 (2) 前記膨出部は、その横断面形状を略長円形
の筒状に形成し、その短軸側の内周には互いに対
向して当接可能に突出する流路閉塞防止用の一対
の突起部を設けてなる請求項(1)に記載のインタ
ンク型燃料ポンプ装置。 (3) 前記膨出部は、長円形の長軸側に位置する
一対の円弧部と、該各円弧部間を連結し、短軸側
に位置する一対の湾曲部とから構成し、前記各円
弧部は各湾曲部よりも厚肉に形成し、該各湾曲部
の内周に前記各突起部を設けてなる請求項(2)に
