Conventionally, fireproofing measures for electric cables and the like have been taken such as applying fire-resistant paint to the surface of the cables or wrapping them with fire-resistant tape. However, such a method cannot be expected to be sufficiently effective since it requires considerable man-hours and expense for applying the fire-resistant paint and winding the fire-resistant tape.

Therefore, the inventors first proposed a pine-like fire-resistant covering in which both sides of a non-combustible heat insulating material layer were covered with a fire-resistant cloth-like material.

This fire-resistant adhered material had excellent fire-retardant properties, causing almost no damage to the internal electric cables even if flames were applied directly to the electric cables and the like coated with it.

However, since such fire-resistant coatings are used by completely enclosing electrical cables, inspection of the internal electrical cables from the outside requires removing them each time. Since the electrical cables and the like that are attached to the cable are completely covered, cables that themselves generate heat, such as electrical cables, have the disadvantage that heat builds up inside.

The purpose of this invention is that the coating can be easily applied, and that the inside of the coating is visible from the outside and breathable under normal conditions, and that once exposed to high temperatures or flames, it will foam and expand, completely destroying the electrical cable. It is an object of the present invention to provide a fire-retardant coating material that can be made into a coated state.

In addition, the flame-resistant foamable composition referred to in the present invention mainly consists of a filler and an expanding agent, and does not come into contact with flame.
It forms a fire-resistant foam insulation layer at high temperatures of 250°C or higher. To describe this composition in more detail, 5 to 70% by weight with respect to the total weight of the following four components:
carbon source, also 5 to 70% by weight catalyst, also 5
Based on ~70% by weight blowing agent, 1-80% by weight spherical or almost spherical filler. The above-mentioned carbon source is one that can provide a carbon structure to the heat-insulating foam, and contains a group that can be esterified with boric acid or phosphoric acid, especially a large number of hydroxyl groups, and a large number of carbon atoms, such as carbohydrates and polyesters. The catalyst is ammonium orthophosphate, which decomposes at a temperature below the decomposition point of the carbon source to produce as much boric acid or phosphoric acid as possible. The blowing agent is one that generates nonflammable gas, such as guanylurea, dicyandiamide, melamine, and urea. The filler is preferably inorganic hollow beads. Such a composition is in the form of a putty and is commercially available from West German Bayer AG under the trade name Fuomox. For other purposes of the present invention, a fire-resistant foam sheet made of a mixture of ceramic fiber and vermiculite can be used.

In the present invention, a fire-resistant or heat-resistant base fabric as described above and a flame-resistant foaming composition are laminated in the form of a sheet. The composition may be applied on both sides of the base fabric, or conversely, the composition may be sandwiched between the base fabric in the form of a sandwich.

In addition, the size of the slits provided in this fire protection covering material is preferably such that a large number of them are uniformly provided over the entire surface of the covering material, and the ratio of the length of the slits to the covering material existing between the slits is approximately 2:1 to 3:1. It is.

The reason for this is because of the relationship between the foaming ratio of the flame-resistant foamable composition and the ratio of 3:1 or more.
This is because there is a possibility that the mesh formed by the slit being pulled in its width direction may not be closed.

The present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to embodiments and drawings. FIG. 1 shows a fireproof covering material 1 of the present invention. This fireproof covering material 1 consists of a flame-resistant foam sheet and a fire-resistant base fabric that reinforces it. Hollow silicate beads are mixed into a putty as a fine powder filler,
It was made into a sheet of 500 mm x 300 mm x 30 mm. Then, this was attached as a fire-resistant base fabric 3 to one side of the glass fiber cloth and integrated.
Slits 4 with a length of 20 mm were provided in a staggered manner at mm intervals.

As mentioned above, the fire prevention covering material of the present invention has uniform slits, so it can extend in the width direction of the slits to cover irregularly shaped items, and at that time, the internal items can be confirmed through the mesh created by being pulled. Also, since ventilation is allowed through the mesh, it is possible to prevent the temperature of the items inside from rising, and once exposed to flames or high temperatures, this mesh closes, conveniently protecting the items inside from the high temperatures and flames. .
