This terempu cloth is generally colored black or the like in order to have the above-mentioned light-shielding function, but in addition to its light-shielding function, it also protects the strip of photographic material from scratches when it is pulled out or rewound. It is necessary to have flexibility so that it does not stick, and it is also essential to take measures to prevent lint, etc. from adhering to the surface of the strip-shaped photographic light-sensitive material (referred to as hair shedding or pile shedding in the photographic light-sensitive material manufacturing industry) and causing failure. It is.

Utility Model Publication No. 46-20539 discloses a film container in which a terem cloth made by knitting a coreless pile yarn obtained by crimping a flexible raw yarn such as viscose or acetate on a base cloth is provided at the film outlet. On the other hand, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 54-36924 proposes a light-shielding container (generally referred to as a cartridge container) for a 135-type roll film provided with a terem cloth having an electrostatic flocking structure. Further, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 57-190948 proposes a light-shielding container using a light-shielding member directly flocked to a thermoplastic material at a roll film outlet.

However, in the case of velvet weave or velvet weave, which is made by weaving pile threads into the fabric, so-called terempu cloth has a woven structure, and the process of making terempu cloth tends to fray and pull out the pile, making the production process complicated. When the photographic strip is assembled into a light-shielding container for photographic light-sensitive material, which increases the production cost, and when the photographic strip is pulled out or rolled up, friction with the surface of the photographic strip may cause fraying or shedding of the pile, and the scraps may be removed from the light-shielding container for the photographic strip. It sometimes adhered to the photosensitive film of photosensitive materials and caused problems. In particular, when used in the drawer of a light-shielding container for roll-shaped color photographic paper loaded with indoor light as explained in the example, the photosensitive film using gelatin swells under high temperature and high humidity, increasing its adhesion. Pile adheres, which poses a practical problem.

In addition, in the case of terempu cloth with an electrostatic flocking structure, although the production process is slightly simplified, it has a simple structure in which adhesive is applied to a tricot, etc., and then electro-flocked to fix the pile. Therefore, the pile is not fixed or the pile is weakly fixed. It is impossible to put it into practical use because the pile tends to come loose so much.

However, in this case as well, in order to solve the problem that the weave point is loose and the attached hair is easy to fall out, we can use high shrinkage yarn as the ground yarn and tighten the stitches by heat treatment, or use an adhesive as shown in Figure 2. For the bristles, it is necessary to use a special thread that becomes bulky through heat treatment so that the tips of the bristles open well. However, since brushed and sheared pile yarn waste is generated, even if brushed knit is used in the drawer of a light-shielding container for rolled photographic paper loaded with indoor light, gelatin must be used under high temperature and high humidity conditions. Since the photoresist film swells and increases its adhesion, pile yarn waste that cannot be removed in the raised portions adheres to the photoresist film, which poses a practical problem.

FIG. 1 is a side cross-sectional view showing an example of the structure of the telempu used in the present invention, which is made of raised warp knitted stockinette with a loop-shaped pile 14 covering the surface of the knitted fabric. That is, Fig. 6-
A pile 14 is knitted in a loop shape into a knitted fabric 11 formed by knitting warp yarns 12 as shown in b. To create a terempu with such a structure, a knitted fabric is prepared by knitting pile yarns in advance, and the pile yarns are pulled out in a loop by scratching with a needle or brush, and then heat set to form a terempu. Comparing Figures 7 and 8 with Figure 1, in Figure 7 the pile yarn 4 is simply tied to the warp yarn 2, while in Figure 8 the short fibers 7 are flocked. 1, the pile yarns 14 are attached to the warp yarns 12.
It has a structure that revolves around the fibers and is brushed in a loop, so the terempu will not fray or fall out, and the pile threads are continuously integrated, so it can be used even under high temperature and high humidity conditions. No quality deterioration.

Comparative Example 2 A stockinette (knitted fabric) was manufactured using a tricot knitting machine (vertical knitting machine) using ground yarn and pile yarn that were the same as the product of the present invention, and the horizontally running yarn was hooked with a needle to make a loop. After a brushed process to draw out the shape
A terremp with a tricot knit structure having a fuzzy pile was cut by cutting the pile to a pile length of 1.05 mm, and the fourth
It was used as a terremp material for the color photographic paper drawer of the light-shielding container for color photographic paper loaded under room lighting as shown in the figure.

The various characteristics of the telemp were almost the same as those in the example, but when the color photographic paper was pulled out after being left at a temperature of 40°C and humidity of 80% RH for 12 hours, there were several spots on the photosensitive film of the color photographic paper that was in contact with the telemp. The pile was found to be defective due to the adhesion of cut pile debris.

According to the present invention, since the loop-shaped pile is used as it is, it is cheaper than velvet-type terempu that is brushed and cut using the same manufacturing method.
In addition, there is no pile waste generated during the manufacturing process, and there is no fraying or hair loss (pile loss) in the photosensitive film of the strip-shaped photographic light-sensitive material that is in contact with the telescope even under high temperature and high humidity conditions.
There is no adhesion of pile-cutting debris, and the knitted fabric has a loop-shaped pile using yarn made of thermoplastic resin such as nylon or polyester fiber. The manufacturing process includes the slitting process of heat-cutting into the width to be used. Even when used as a terempu material for light-shielding containers, there is no pile waste, fraying, or pile loss, and the knitting speed is several times that of a woven structure, and there is no need for sealing adhesive. Significant cost reductions are possible.
