[0006] According to the research of the present inventor, when calcium chloride is combined with magnesium chloride to make a bath additive and is added to the bathtub, the skin feels warm and irritated when taking a bath.
The warmth lasts for a long time even after bathing, and the osmotic pressure effect of both ingredients causes strong sweating during bathing, which opens pores and makes it easier to remove dirt from the skin. It has been found that calcium and magnesium chloride exhibit their respective medicinal effects. That is, calcium chloride makes the skin smooth and has an effect on skin diseases such as eczema, rash, athlete's foot, and heat rash, thereby alleviating or curing the disease, and magnesium chloride promotes bowel movements. Furthermore, various bathing effects can be obtained due to the peripheral nerve stimulating effect and warm bathing effect of calcium chloride. In fact, bathing tests conducted by the present inventor with multiple panelists showed that not only did the hot bath have a lasting effect of warmth, but it also relieved fatigue, made the body soft, cured skin diseases, and reduced back pain and muscle pain. It has been shown to relieve pain from stiff shoulders, hemorrhoids, and neurogenic gastritis, reduce symptoms of constipation, and has a diuretic effect. Although the reason why such remarkable effects are obtained by the present invention is not clear, it is predicted that the use of calcium chloride and magnesium chloride in combination increases the skin absorption of calcium chloride and magnesium chloride.

[0007] In the present invention, both calcium chloride and magnesium chloride can be used in the form of an anhydrous salt or various hydrated salts, but especially calcium chloride can be used in the form of a dihydrate salt, and magnesium chloride can be used in the form of a hexahydrate salt. It is preferable to use In addition, in the present invention, it is essential to use magnesium chloride to calcium chloride in a ratio of 1 (dihydrate equivalent) to the latter 0.1-0.3 (hexahydrate equivalent), and only by this. The above remarkable effects can be obtained. If the amount of magnesium chloride (hexahydrate) is less than 0.1, the hot bath effect will be insufficient and the absorption of calcium chloride will also decrease. On the other hand, if this amount exceeds 0.3, the bathing effect will decrease. A preferred ratio is around 0.15 to 0.25 of magnesium chloride (hexahydrate) to 1 part of calcium chloride (dihydrate), and the bathing effect is most pronounced at this usage ratio.

[0008] The bath additive of the present invention can be used as a powder, granule, tablet,
It can be made into various known forms such as effervescent tablets and liquid preparations. For formulation, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride may be formulated according to known methods together with excipients, coloring agents, fragrances, and various other known auxiliary agents, if necessary. In addition to calcium chloride and magnesium chloride, the bath additive of the present invention may also contain various known bath additive components as required.

[0009] When producing granules, even if calcium chloride and magnesium chloride are simply mixed, there are differences in size and specific gravity, and uniformity of the components cannot be maintained. Therefore, for example, calcium chloride (dihydrate) can be replaced with magnesium chloride (
Heating and stirring above 90°C, which is the temperature at which calcium chloride (hexahydrate) melts, removes moisture from calcium chloride, adds magnesium chloride while increasing the composition, and continues stirring.
Hexahydrate) is melted and combined with calcium chloride (dihydrate). The heating at this time is limited to 110° C. to prevent decomposition of the molten magnesium chloride. When this is cooled, granules in which calcium chloride and magnesium chloride are uniformly combined can be obtained. When using the bath additive of the present invention, there is no particular restriction on the amount used as long as the bathing effect is obtained, and it can be used within a wide range, but it is particularly preferable that the amount of active ingredients (calcium chloride and magnesium chloride) be 0. The ratio is 1-1.0 g/liter bath.
