In construction machines, such as hydraulic excavators and self-propelled cranes, which are self-propelled and have a rotating upper structure, a driver's cab is provided in the upper structure, and almost all operations are performed in the operator's cab. For this reason, ladders and walkways are provided between the ground and the driver's cabin for the driver to ascend and descend, and are used relatively frequently. Among the dimensions of construction machinery, especially small to medium-sized construction machinery where the height from the ground to the floor of the operator's cab is not very high, the length of the ladder is short and it is not very difficult for the operator to climb up and down. When the height of the operator's cab floor is 4m to 5m from the ground in large construction machines, the length of the ladder becomes longer, and it goes without saying that ease and safety for the operator to ascend and descend are required. It is desirable to have a structure and arrangement that will prevent collisions with rocks or other obstacles during work. A ladder in the conventional construction machine will be explained using a hydraulic excavator as an example with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4. FIG. 3 shows an example in which vertical ladders are fixed to the outer surfaces of the lower rotating body and the upper rotating body, where 1 is the upper rotating body and 2 is the lower rotating body. The upper revolving body 1 has a revolving frame (not shown) as a skeleton, a driver's cab 4 is installed in the front part of the revolving frame, a driving part such as an engine is installed in the rear of the driver's cab 4, and a counterweight 3 is installed in the rear end. The lower traveling body 2 is rotatably mounted on the lower traveling body 2. 10 is a vertical ladder fixed to the outer surface of the lower traveling body 2, and 11 is a vertical ladder fixed to the outer surface of the upper revolving structure 1. The ladder of this configuration has almost no outward protrusion of the upper rotating body 1 and the lower traveling body 2 and does not increase the width, but since the ladder is vertical, the larger the construction machine, the more difficult it is to go up and down. It is not easy to do so, and there are concerns about safety. Furthermore, since the ladder 10 is located on the outside and close to the ground surface, it is difficult to avoid collisions with rocks, dump trucks, etc. while the ladder is running, and it is extremely susceptible to damage. FIG. 4 is an attempt to improve the disadvantages of the ladder shown in FIG. 3 above. 3rd in the figure
The same reference numerals as in the figure indicate the same thing. 8 is an inclined ladder 9 fixed to the outer surface of the upper revolving body 1
When working with a hydraulic excavator, the inclined ladder 9 is slid and stored inside the ladder storage case. The state when stored is shown by a chain line. For the sliding of the inclined ladder 9, for example, a counterweight is attached to the top of the inclined ladder 9 via the top of the ladder storage case 8,
The operator pushes or pulls any part of the inclined ladder 9 to slide the ladder storage case 8 as a guide. The storage is done so that the lower end of the inclined ladder 9 does not protrude from the lower surface of the upper revolving structure 1.
12 is a walkway leading to the second step of the sloped ladder 13. Since the ladder of this configuration is sloped, it is easy and safe to ascend and descend even for large construction machines, and since it is stored in the ladder storage case 8 during work, collisions with rocks etc. while running are avoided. However, since the ladder storage case 8 is fixed and protrudes from the outer surface of the upper revolving structure 1, it is easily collided with dump trucks and other obstacles during the revolving operation, and is also easily damaged by falling rocks. There is.

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned problems and provide a ladder for construction machinery that allows easy and safe access to the operator's cab and does not cause collisions with rocks or other obstacles during work. .

This invention is a construction machine ladder that is attached between the ground and the upper revolving body for lifting, and an inclined ladder that can be moved up and down is installed in the space formed between the rear central part of the revolving frame and the counterweight. This allows for easy and safe movement up and down from the operator's cab, and prevents collisions with rocks and other obstacles during work.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. The figure shows an example of a large hydraulic excavator as in FIGS. 3 and 4, and the same reference numerals indicate the same parts. FIG. 2 is a view taken along the - arrow in FIG. Reference numeral 5 designates a revolving frame, in which a drive unit 6 such as an engine for driving a hydraulic excavator is disposed on the left and right outer overhangs, a driver's cab 4 is located at the front of one side of the overhang, and a counterweight 3 is installed at the rear. are arranged respectively. Reference numeral 7 denotes a space surrounded by the rear central portion of the rotating frame 5 and the counterweight 3. Reference numeral 8 denotes a ladder storage case which is fixed to the revolving frame 5 in the space 7, and an inclined ladder 9 is stored therein. The inclined ladder 9 is stored to such an extent that the lower end of the inclined ladder 9 does not protrude from the lower surface of the upper revolving body 1 (also the lower surface of the revolving frame 5). The position when stored is shown with a chain line. Storage is performed before the start of normal operation in a manner similar to that described in FIG. 4, by sliding the inclined ladder 9 into the ladder storage case 8. In this embodiment, a method is shown in which the inclined ladder 9 is stored by sliding it into the ladder storage case 8, but the upper part of the inclined ladder 9 is used as a swinging fulcrum and a hydraulic cylinder is used to move the inclined ladder 9 from the position shown in FIG. It may be made to swing up to In the ladder of this configuration, the operator must take care of the space 7 as the height to the bottom of the revolving body 1 is approximately 2.5 m to 3 m from the ground.
You can freely go up and down the inclined ladder 9 from
When going up and down, the walls of the revolving frame 5 and the counterweight 3 that surround the space 7 function to prevent the driver from falling due to a misstep. Or, since the ladder storage case 8 is within the width of the revolving frame 5, it does not overhang the outer surface.
Collisions with dump trucks and falling rocks are almost eliminated during turning operations.

As explained above, the present invention is configured so that a tilted ladder that can be moved up and down is installed in a space formed between the rear central part of the revolving frame and the counterweight, making it easy to ascend and descend from the driver's cab. It can be carried out easily and safely, and has the practical effect of eliminating collisions with rocks and other obstacles during work.
