内嵌してスポツト溶接により固着し、底部材はさらに拡
径すると共に多数の透孔を開設したのち前記円筒体の他
端部開口縁に外嵌してスポツト溶接により固着してなる
ことを特徴とするものである。

〔実施例〕次に図面と共に本発明の一実施例を説明する

ステンレス板に両側縁の所定幅を残して多数のスリツト
状の切込を設け、該ステンレス板を幅方向に引張荷重を
掛け伸展することにより多数の菱形透孔が形成されるよ
うにしたいわゆるラス網状のもので、該網板1を第2図
に示したように円筒状に丸めてその両端縁1a,1bを
重合し、その重合部分をシームレス溶接することにより
円筒体2を形成する。シームレス溶接は、周知のように
回転自在に設けられた一対のローラ間に上記重合部分を
挟んで高電流を両ローラ間に印加することにより両端縁
1a,1bを直線状に溶接できるもので、スポツト溶接
と異なり、両端縁1a,1bを一連に溶接できるのでそ
の端縁のバリや鋭いエツジも両ローラ間に挟まれて互い
に溶着する。一方、第3図にリング体3と底部材4の加
工製作工程を示す。即ち、先ずA,Bに示したようにス
テンレス板5をプレスにより深絞り加工し有底筒体6を
形成する。また、C,Dに示したように該有底筒体6の
上端開口縁外周に一体に形成されたフランジ7の周縁部
を下方に折曲げ折返すことにより該フランジ7を補強す
る。そして、Eに示したように該有底筒体6をロールス
リツトにより胴部にて水平に切断し、前記フランジ7を
具備するリング体3と、浅皿状の底部材4とに二分する
。そして底部材4はさらにプレス加工して内径が前記円
筒体2の外径に一致するまで拡径すると共に底面に多数
の透孔8を打抜により開設する。こうして造られたリン
グ体3は円筒体2の一端部開口縁に内嵌してスポツト溶
接9することにより固着する。また底部材4は円筒体2
の他端部開口縁に外嵌してスポツト溶接10することに
より固着する。なお、11はリング体3内に両端をその
内側より枢着してなる半リング状の把手を示す。このよ
うに製造された水切籠は、網板1の両端縁1a,1bを
シームレス溶接することにより円筒体2を形成したので
、網板1の鋭いエツジやバリ等が円筒体2の内外面に突
き出ない。また円筒体2両端開口縁にはリング体3を内
嵌し底部材4を外嵌してなるので円筒体2の両端開口縁
のバリ等も表面に露呈することなく安全であると共に、
該円筒体2を補強し頑丈な水切籠とすることができる。
