(Structure of the invention) The present invention is a ridge ventilation system that forms a ventilation tower and straddles the ridge.
A metal ventilation tower is formed by opening a ventilation hole in the side surface of a hollow cylindrical or conical main body, and having an inclined overhang part along the ridge slope on the lower edge of the main body. The gist of this ridge ventilation system is to provide a ridge ventilation device which is installed over upper and lower insertion holes partially transparent in the ridge of a roof, and has a sloping overhanging part that is overlapped and fixed to a metal ridge holder.

The present invention will be explained below with reference to drawings showing embodiments. In Figs. 1 to 3, 1 is a ventilation tower;
This ventilation tower 1 is made of painted steel plate, aluminum alloy, etc. with a thickness of about 0.25 to 0.5 mm,
It has a tapered triangular pyramid shape with a height of about 35 cm and one side is a vertical side 3, and has a main body 2 which has an external shape by cutting off the tip at an intermediate position, and this main body 2 is hollow inside and has a vertical side 3. The central portion of the side surface 3 is provided with several rows of ventilation holes 4 that expand downward.

The ventilation hole 4 is formed by pressing the vertical side surface 3 in an eave-like manner in the inner and outer directions to bulge out, and forming a groove 5 between them in a louver shape as a whole to prevent rainwater from blowing in and to enable ventilation.

On the other hand, the main body 2 is cut out in an inverted V shape so that the lower part of the vertical side surface 3 follows the slope of the ridge 7, and from each lower edge of the main body 2, the lower part of the main body 2 is cut outward and downward along the slope. An inclined projecting portion 6 having a step similar to that of a ridge retainer to be described later is integrally provided.

8 is provided along the entire length in the longitudinal direction so as to be opposed to the left and right on the extension line of the sloped surface of the roof exterior material 10, and a bilaterally symmetrical metal ridge presser 9 is formed in a stepped shape extending to the surface of the roof exterior material 10. is fitted and fixed. Note that at this time, the roof exterior material 10 is made of a thick slate board.

In this example, the ridge 7 does not have the ridge retainer 9 in the vicinity of the gable end, but has the upper and lower insertion holes 11 partially transparent by removing the ridge base plates 8, 8. On the other hand, the roof base plates 12 facing each other on the left and right sides on the ridgepole 14 are also provided with through holes 13, which are partially cut out from both sides, at the same position as the through holes 11. In addition, 15 in the figure is a roof base plate 12 installed on the ridgepole 14 in an inclined shape from side to side.
This barrel tree 15 is attached to the ridge 7.
Since they are arranged at intervals of 45 cm from center to center in the longitudinal direction, the through holes 13 of the roof base plate 12 are provided so as to avoid the barrel wood 15 portion and to be located between them.

In the ridge 7 provided with the upper and lower insertion holes 11, the above-mentioned ventilation tower 1 is installed so as to cover the insertion holes 11 and straddle the ridge 7.
That is, the ventilation tower 1 is arranged so that its vertical side face 3 faces the gable side and the triangular abutting part faces the other gable side, and its sloping overhang part 6 is aligned with the sloped roof surface, and the adjacent front and rear sides are aligned. After the ridge retainer 9 is coated with these materials and coated with a caulking material (not shown), it is fixed to the roof exterior material 12 with tapping screws 16.

In this example configured in this way, the air in the ridge 7 (indoor air when the oak is exposed without interior decoration) flows from the through hole 13 of the roof base plate 12 to the upper and lower insertion holes 11, and furthermore, this The air is guided into the ventilation tower main body 2 and exhausted to the outside through the ventilation holes 4, thereby performing ridge ventilation.

On the other hand, FIG. 4 shows another embodiment. In this example, the roof exterior material 17 is of a corrugated type, and in addition to the above, the inside longitudinal communication portion 18 of the roof exterior material 17 is This prevents dew condensation on the back side of the roof exterior material 17 by enabling ventilation, and at this time, since the ridge 7 portions are connected in the longitudinal direction, air from the vertically connected portions of each wave portion is ventilated. As a result of reaching the tower 1 and being discharged outward from the ventilation hole 4, air pockets are prevented from forming within the roof sheathing material 17. In this case, it is necessary to close and fill the space between the outer side of the roof sheathing material 17 and the inclined overhanging part of the ventilation tower 1 with mortar or the like. Since the rest is the same as the previous embodiment, the symbols thereof will be given and the explanation will be omitted.

In the present invention, the ventilation tower is cylindrical or conical, so it may be circular or polygonal.
Since it will be installed on the ridge of a building, it is desirable to give as much consideration to its design and shape as possible, and to make it durable. Note that the ventilation tower can be made of a cast product, but when a metal plate is bent and formed, the specific structure, such as which parts are connected by half-folding, may be determined by considering the planking. The vents of the ventilation tower should be made to prevent rainwater from entering, and the vents should be covered with netting to prevent insects, or by inserting and fixing separately manufactured vents instead of using the press mentioned above. You can also do this. The inclined overhang can be provided integrally or integrally connected, but it should have a protruding length that can overlap with the ridge retainer, and the roof exterior material has unevenness, such as in the example shown in Fig. 4. Needless to say, the shape can be changed depending on the time.

The present invention is as described above, but in implementing it, various specific structures, shapes, fixing means, etc. may be implemented as long as they do not go against the gist of the invention, and it is of course not limited to the above. It is.

(Effect of the invention) The present invention is a metal ventilation tower having a hollow cylindrical or cone-shaped main body with ventilation holes on the side surface and an inclined overhang along the ridge slope on the lower edge of the main body. , the ventilation tower is installed over the upper and lower insertion holes that are partially transparent in the ridge of the roof, and the slanted overhanging portion is overlapped and fixed with a metal ridge holder, Ventilation within the ridge is performed above the ridge, allowing the rising air to be discharged at an appropriate location without being directed to the gable side.
Its breathability is good.

Moreover, this ridge ventilation system is cheaper than one that is installed continuously in the longitudinal direction of the ridge.
Since the ventilation tower is provided with an inclined overhang, it is advantageous for its fixation and waterproofing.Furthermore, since the structure is relatively simple, there is no possibility of failure, and no maintenance is required.
