Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a uniform turf by using a water-soluble non-woven fabric composed of narrow filaments interlocked in one direction and bound with a binder composed of a mixture of a small amount of a water-repellent and a water-soluble resin and pasting turf seeds to the non-woven fabric with a foamed water-soluble paste. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble non-woven fabric 2 having excellent dispersibility is produced by binding narrow filaments in a state interlocked in one direction with a binder composed of a water-soluble resin mixed with a small amount of a water-repellent. Seeds 3 of turf are pasted to the non-woven fabric 2 with bubbles of a water-soluble paste having a diameter of 7 or less mm. The absorption of the water-soluble adhesive in the non-woven fabric can be prevented in the case of producing a turf sheet by pasting turf seeds to a non-woven fabric to enable the formation of uniform and beautiful turf over the ground.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [00013] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a turf body and a method for manufacturing the same. [0002] [0006] Furthermore, in the case of a turf structure for a golf course, it is important to uniformly adhere a small amount of turf seeds, but the method of spraying a water-soluble adhesive onto the turf seeds while dropping them does not There have been problems in that it is difficult to control the amount of sowing, which tends to result in striped sowing, and it is difficult to maintain uniformity. [o o 07] By the way, on August 4, 1990, the applicant of this application filed a patent application (Japanese Patent Application No. 2-201θ 7098), but
Subsequent research revealed that even when using the technology related to this patent application, it is difficult to avoid water absorption by nonwoven fabrics, and it may not be possible to reliably adhere lawn seeds and fertilizers to nonwoven fabrics. [0008] The present invention has been made with the above-mentioned matters in mind, and one purpose thereof is to provide a useful lawn material that germinates uniformly and produces a lawn with good appearance. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for easily manufacturing a turf body that can reliably adhere and fix turf seeds and the like to a nonwoven fabric. [0009] Means for Solving the Problems I: In order to achieve the above objects, the present invention employs the following two means. [00101 The first method relates to the turf body, and a small amount of water-repellent resin is added to the water-soluble resin so that the narrow long fibers are intertwined in one direction. 4) In the past, when preparing grass surfaces such as sukeba or riverbeds, lawn seeds were directly sown or sprayed by hand, and fresh grass such as Korai grass was pasted on. [0003] [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, methods such as manual direct sowing and spraying of lawn seeds tend to cause uneven sowing and spraying, and therefore, uneven germination of the lawn. However, the method of applying fresh grass does not have the disadvantages mentioned above, but it does have the disadvantage of increasing the construction cost. [0004] On the other hand, by spraying a water-soluble adhesive material on one side of a dispersible nonwoven fabric in which the fibers are repeatedly intertwined with each other at appropriate intervals in the vertical and horizontal directions, while dropping lawn seeds, It is conceivable to uniformly adhere lawn seeds to a non-woven fabric to form a turf body, which is then affixed to the ground surface. [0005]However, in the above-mentioned conventional stretched grass body, since the fibers of the nonwoven fabric are intertwined in the vertical and horizontal directions, there is a problem in dispersibility. In addition, because the size of the bubbles of the water-soluble glue is uneven, the areas to which large particles of the water-soluble glue adhere may not be sufficiently dried, and the dispersible nonwoven fabric may absorb moisture before drying is complete. It was difficult to obtain the desired tensioned turf body, as the turf was dispersed. Lawn seeds are attached to a water-soluble non-woven fabric with excellent water-soluble adhesive properties using a foam of water-soluble glue with a diameter of 7 mm or less. [00111 The second means relates to a method for producing a stretched turf body, and includes a dispersible turf material made by binding thin 30 mm wide long fibers with a binder containing a small amount of water repellent in a water-soluble resin so that they are intertwined in one direction. Foam of a water-soluble sizing agent with a diameter of 7111 m or less is sprayed on a superior water-soluble nonwoven fabric, and then lawn seeds are sown onto the nonwoven fabric using a seeding machine. We try to spray foam with a diameter of 7 mm or less. [0012] In any of the above means, it is more convenient if adjustment is made so that 80% or more of the foam is contained within the range of 2 to 5 mm in diameter. [Function] The fibers of the nonwoven fabric are intertwined in only one direction, so it has good dispersibility.Moreover, since the nonwoven fabric is composed of long fibers, even if it is dispersed by water, it does not prevent the movement of lawn seeds. This can effectively prevent lawn seeds from being unevenly distributed on the nonwoven fabric. Since the binder of the nonwoven fabric is made by mixing a water-soluble resin with a small amount of water repellent, the nonwoven fabric has appropriate water repellency. [0014] Furthermore, since the water-soluble adhesive for adhering the lawn seeds to the non-woven fabric is made of foam with a diameter of 7 mm or less, and the non-woven fabric has an appropriate water repellency of 50 mm, the water-soluble adhesive is applied prior to scattering the lawn seeds. Even if the agent is sprayed onto the nonwoven fabric, the water-soluble adhesive will not be absorbed into the nonwoven fabric for about 5 minutes, for example. Therefore, if lawn seeds are spread on a non-woven fabric after spraying a water-soluble sizing agent, and then the foam of the water-soluble sizing agent is sprayed again, the water-soluble sizing agent will not be absorbed by the non-woven fabric and will quickly dry. This ensures that the lawn seeds adhere to and sow onto the non-woven fabric. [0015] In such a turf body, the grass seeds do not fall off from the non-woven fabric during handling such as transportation, and therefore, when such a turf body is laid on the construction target surface, the grass seeds grow uniformly. A grassy surface is formed. [0016] Examples of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. [00171 FIGS. 1 to 3 show an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, 1 is a stretched grass body, 2 is a nonwoven fabric, and 3 is a seeded grass on one side, and is attached with a water-soluble adhesive (described later). It is a grown lawn seed. [0018] The grass tension body 1 is manufactured using an apparatus as shown in FIG. In this figure, 4 is a nonwoven fabric roll;
5 is a first glue spraying machine, 6 is a seeding machine, 7 is a second glue spraying machine, 8 is a dryer, 9 is a winding roll, and 10.1.1 is a conveyor. [0022] The seeding machine 6 is interposed between the first glue spraying machine 5 and the second glue spraying machine 7, and a conventionally known structure can be used. The amount of lawn seeds 3 sown by this seeding machine 6 is, for example, in the case of a lawn material 1 for a golf course green, either by sowing Penn Cross Bend singly at a rate of 8 g/m'', or by sowing uniformly. To facilitate sowing, add 20 g/m2 of lawn seed 3 to Penn Cross Bent, with fillers such as vermulite (expanded vermiculite) added as necessary.
The seeds are sown at 1θ. Further, in the case of the turf body 1 for the teeing grounds and fairways of golf courses, or for creating grass surfaces in parks, green areas, riverbeds, etc., tall fescue is used, for example. Lawn seeds 3 containing short-crowned species suitable for sports turf such as perennial ryegrass and Kentucky bluegrass are sown at a density of 55 g/m2. Note that any of the lawn seeds 3 described above may be mixed with a water retaining material as appropriate. [0023] The dryer 8 is equipped with a hot air source 15 using, for example, propane gas, and is configured to uniformly dry the nonwoven fabric 2 over its entire width. [00241] Next, to explain the procedure for manufacturing the turf body 1 for, for example, a golf course green using the apparatus configured as described above, the nonwoven fabric roll 4 is rotated in a predetermined direction and the first glue material is sent out in the direction of the machine 5. The first glue material spraying is machine 5.
[0019] The nonwoven fabric used for the nonwoven fabric roll 4 is preferably a water-soluble fabric with excellent dispersibility in which narrow long fibers are bound to intertwine in one direction.
.. Fibers of 5 denier and 51 mm in length are glued together using a water-soluble glue made by mixing a small amount of water repellent with a water-soluble resin such as polyvinyl alcohol (hereinafter referred to as PVA) with a low degree of polymerization, so that the material ratio is as follows: 80% fiber, 20% water-soluble sizing agent
% and the area weight is about 23 g/m2. As the nonwoven fabric roll 4, for example, one having a width of 1050 mm and a length of 1050 m is used. In addition, there are various types of water repellents such as silicone-based, fluorine-based, wax-based, etc.
~4%, preferably 3%. [002ON] The first glue material spraying machine 5 and the second glue material spraying machine 7 have the same configuration, and have a conventionally known configuration, for example, a glue storage tank 12 and a nozzle 13, and are nonwoven fabric. A water-soluble glue 14 is applied to the nonwoven fabric 2 unwound from the roll 4 and the nonwoven fabric 2 seeded with lawn seeds 3.
is configured to supply. [00211 The water-soluble glue 14 has a foam diameter of 7
It is preferable that the diameter of the foam be adjusted to be below +no+, and it is more convenient to adjust it so that 80% or more of the foam is within the range of 2 to 5M in diameter. As such a water-soluble glue 14, for example, a mixture of water, PVA, and vinyl acetate emulsion as a foam film strength enhancer in appropriate amounts can be used. As a result, the water-soluble adhesive material 14 is uniformly sprayed onto the nonwoven fabric 2 fed out from the nonwoven fabric roll 4 at a spraying pressure of about 6 kg/cm<2>. [0025] The water-soluble adhesive material 14 has a foam diameter of 7
mm or less, and moreover, the diameter of more than 80% of the foam is within the range of 2 to 305 mm, and since the nonwoven fabric 2 has appropriate water repellency, it is suitable for dispersing lawn seeds 3. The water-soluble adhesive 14 that has been previously sprayed onto the nonwoven fabric 2 is not absorbed into the nonwoven fabric 2 for about 5 minutes, for example. The nonwoven fabric 2 sprayed with the water-soluble glue 14 is conveyed by a conveyor 10 to a seeding machine 6, where an increased amount of lawn seeds 3 made of pen cloth vents are fed toward the nonwoven fabric 2 as required. At this time, lawn seeds 3
It is preferable to sow the seeds uniformly at a rate of 8 g/m2. [0026] The nonwoven fabric 2 on which the lawn seeds 3 have been sown is sent by the conveyor circulationer 10 to the second spraying machine 7, where the water-soluble glue 14 is sprayed again. The conditions for this spraying are the same as those in machine 5 for the first glue material spraying. [0027] As described above, even if the water-soluble glue 14 is sprayed before and after the lawn seeds 3 are sprayed onto the nonwoven fabric 2, the reason why it is not immediately absorbed by the nonwoven fabric 2 is as follows. That is, the nonwoven fabric 2 has been given an appropriate water repellency in advance, and therefore, the water-soluble glue 14 is applied to the nonwoven fabric 2 before spreading the lawn seeds 3.
This is because even if the water-soluble adhesive 14 is sprinkled onto the non-woven fabric 3, the water-soluble adhesive 14 will not be absorbed into the non-woven fabric 3 for about 50 minutes, for example. Then, when the lawn seeds 3 are sprayed and the foam of the water-soluble adhesive 14 is again sprayed after that, the sprayed water-soluble adhesive 14 dries quickly before being absorbed into the nonwoven fabric 2, and as a result, the lawn seeds 3 is reliably adhered and seeded onto the nonwoven fabric 2. [0028] In the second adhesive spraying process, the nonwoven fabric 2 on which the water-soluble adhesive 14 has been sprayed by the machine 7 is transferred to the conveyor 10.1.

The lawn seeds 3 are uniformly adhered and sown on one surface of the nonwoven fabric 2 to form a desired turf body, and this turf body is rolled up by a winding roll 9.
The rolled turf is rolled up to form a turf body roll, and by cutting this into an appropriate length, a turf body 1 for golf course greens is obtained. [0029] By the way, as described above, the turf body according to the present invention has lawn seeds 3 attached to a water-repellent nonwoven fabric 2;
The degree of falling of the lawn seeds 3 after transfer in the case of a conventional tensioned lawn body not subjected to water repellent treatment was as follows. That is, when a turf body to which 60 g/m2 of lawn seeds 3 were attached was transferred, 5 g/m2 of lawn seeds 3 fell in the conventional turf body, whereas 1 g of lawn seeds 3 fell in the turf body according to the present invention.
/m2 grass seed 3 did not fall. In other words, by applying water-repellent treatment to the nonwoven fabric 2 to which the grass seeds 3 are attached, the adhesion of the grass seeds 3 to the nonwoven fabric 2 is ensured, and the fall of the grass seeds 3 from the nonwoven fabric 2 is significantly prevented. As a result, the sprouts maintain a uniform state on the nonwoven fabric 2. Thereafter, by appropriately applying water, fertilizer, etc., it is possible to form an even and uniform lawn surface. [00311 Note that when the lawn seeds 3 are attached to the nonwoven fabric 2, fertilizers, water retaining materials, etc. may be attached at the same time. [0032] Effects of the Invention As explained above, in the method for producing a turf body according to the present invention, a non-woven fabric having water repellency and excellent dispersibility even with long fibers of 1θ has the advantage of being able to absorb grass seeds. At the same time, the water-soluble adhesive for adhering and fixing the grass seeds dries quickly before being absorbed into the non-woven fabric, making it possible to reliably and easily attach the grass seeds to the non-woven fabric. Can be fixed. In addition, since the fibers of the nonwoven fabric for fixing lawn seeds are intertwined in only one direction, the tensioned turf body according to the present invention has good dispersibility, and since the nonwoven fabric is composed of long fibers, it is dispersed by water. It is possible to prevent the movement of the grass seeds even when the non-woven fabric is covered, and it is possible to effectively prevent the grass seeds from being unevenly distributed on the non-woven fabric. Furthermore, the lawn seeds do not fall off the nonwoven fabric during transportation, etc., and therefore, it is possible to easily form an even and uniform lawn surface with good appearance, which greatly contributes to the greening of the ground surface. It turns out that it is possible. [00301 To install the above-mentioned turf body 1 on-site, the turf body 1 is laid over the entire ground surface 16 of the site to be greened, and then covered with soil to a depth of about 0.5 cm. After construction, when the nonwoven fabric 2 becomes wet by sprinkling water, the fibers are dispersed, and the rough portions of the fibers are cut by water droplets and become even rougher, forming spaces between the fibers. On the other hand, the lawn seeds 3 sown on the nonwoven fabric 2 immediately germinate when exposed to moisture, and young sprouts easily sprout from the spaces between the fibers. In this case, since the nonwoven fabric 2 is composed of long fibers, it is possible to prevent the lawn seeds 3 from moving even if they are dispersed by water, and the unevenness of the lawn seeds 3 on the nonwoven fabric 2 can be prevented [Figure 1] 1-・Tension grass body 2-Nonwoven fabric 3-211 seeds
