However, generally speaking, increasing the lubricity of water-based ink for ballpoint pens tends to have the disadvantage that written lines tend to smear, so it has been a difficult problem to simultaneously improve lubricity and prevent smearing of written lines. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an aqueous in-8 composition for ballpoint pens that has excellent lubricity and does not cause blurring of written lines.

After filling a ballpoint pen with the inks of each of the above examples and the comparative inks described below and writing for 500 meters using a writing tester, the amount of sinking of the ballpoint pen and the width of the writing line were measured, and a writing feel test was conducted. The results are as follows. As shown in the table. Furthermore, comparative example 1
The ink is an aqueous black ink obtained by processing the blended composition of Example 1 in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the soapwort extract was removed and the water content was 65.7 parts by weight. The ink of Comparative Example 2 was prepared by removing the soapwort extract from the formulation composition of Example 2 and instead reducing the water content to 7.
This is an aqueous blue ink obtained by treating the blended composition containing 4.3 parts by weight in the same manner as in Example 2. The ink of Comparative Example 3 is the same as that of the blended composition of Example 3 except for the soapwort extract. This is a water-based black ink obtained by treating a blended composition with a water content of 65.5 parts by weight in the same manner as in Example 3 instead.

Table 1 From the above table, each Example ink has a smaller amount of ball sinking than each Comparative Example ink, and therefore has excellent lubricity and a smooth writing feel. Furthermore, it is clear that the drawn line width is narrow and therefore it is difficult to bleed.
