Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structre and stabilize the actuation by connecting both track running paths together by means of pressing a movable plate of one of the track running paths to the other, and restraining the protrusion of the movable plate with a guide rail and a guide member at the time of changeover. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 13, a receiving plate 14 and a guide plate 15 are provided on the recessed portion 11 of a running path D1 of a branching track D, a movable plate 16 is provided on the receiving a plate 14 so as to thereon and a compression coil spring 19 is provided under the receiving plate 14. Also a guide roller 20 is fitted underneath the movable plate 16 in a freely rotatable manner. The movable plate 16 is made to contact, by means of a spring 19, when branching, a fixed plate 23 provided on a recessed portion 12 of a running path C1 of the connection track C in flush with the running path C1, and the running paths C1 and D1 are connected together. At the time of changeover, the guide roller 20 of the movable plate 16 is made to come in contact with a guide rail 26 of the running path C1 by virtue of the spring force whereby the movable plate 16 is restrained from protruding.

[Scope of Claims] 1. In a railway branching section where a branch track is selectively connected to a plurality of connecting tracks and the route of the train is changed by moving the branching track between a plurality of branching positions where the branching track is selectively connected to a plurality of connecting tracks. A movable plate that is slidable in the length direction of the running track is provided at the end of the running track on one of the tracks, and a movable plate that projects from the running track end and presses against the running track end of the other track. A spring that exerts a spring force is provided, and a guide rail is provided at the end of the running path of the other track in the width direction of the running track, and the movable plate is provided with a running path of the movable plate in contact with this guide rail. A running path connecting device for a railway branch, characterized in that it is provided with a guide member that restricts the amount of protrusion from the end. 2. Claim 1, characterized in that the movable plate and the other track are provided with engaging portions at opposing ends of the travel path, which irreleasably connect the two at each branch position of the branch track. The running path connecting device for the railway branch described above.
