Abstract

PURPOSE:To extend the lifetime of parts, improve riding comfort on a vehicle and increase the travel speed thereof by recessing the surface of a roller bearing where in contact with a roller, in the same direction as roller rotation. CONSTITUTION:When a pendulum type underframe for a vehicle has a swing bolster, the sectional form of a roller bearing 3 near an area in contact with a roller 4 is recessed in the same direction as the rotation of the roller 4. The range of the aforesaid recessed area in the breadthwise direction of a vehicle body is normally kept equal to or over the range of shift of the roller 4, due to the inclination of the vehicle body on curved tracks, thereby preventing the roller 4 from reaching the projected surface of the roller bearing 3. According to the aforesaid construction, the roller 4 keeps contacting the recessed surface of the roller bearing 3, even when the vehicle travels along any kind of tracks, including straight and curved tracks. As a result, the lifetime of the roller bearing 3 can be extended and riding comfort on the vehicle can be improved.

Conventional pendulum bogies for railway vehicles are known, for example, as patented in 1982-11.
As described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 8446, Japanese Patent Publication No. 59-143760, Japanese Patent Publication No. 60-163760, etc., the shape of the surface of the roller holder in contact with the rollers has a uniform radius in the direction of rotation of the rollers. It had the shape of a so-called cylindrical part, which had a convex surface.

In such a structure, since the area of the roller receiver in contact with the rollers is small, when the vehicle is stopped or running on a straight track, the predetermined contact surface between the roller receiver and the rollers and Since only the nearby parts are in contact with each other, tissue damage such as 7-retching corrugation can occur on the contact surface, which is a factor in shortening the life of the parts.

Furthermore, on the riding surface of the vehicle, the stability of the vehicle body in the roll direction with respect to the bogie is not good due to the convex shape of the roller bearing, so there is a problem in that the vehicle body tends to wobble, especially on a straight track.

By making the contact surface of the roller receiver with respect to the roller in a partially shaped shape relative to the direction of rotation of the roller, it is possible to increase the contact area between the roller and the roller receiver and reduce the surface pressure between them. As a result, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of dripping corrosion under extreme pressure at the contact surface.
It is possible to extend the lifespan of parts and reduce the number of parts replacements.

Also, the same Q < 9 for the rollers of the roller holder: By making the stone surface concave with respect to the rotation direction of the rollers, the stability of the roll direction of the car body with respect to the bogie is improved, especially on a straight track. This can be prevented and the riding comfort can be improved.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing a structure of a roller support and the vicinity of the rollers in the case of having a swaying pillow of 300 degrees. Further, FIG. 3 is a diagram schematically showing a cross section of a bogie joint portion including one wheel axle of a car body when a pendulum type bogie for a railway vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention has a swing pillow. The figure is a sectional view of the truck portion in FIG. 3.

In FIG. 1, the cross-sectional shape of the roller receiver 3 in the vicinity of contact with the rollers 4 is concave in the same direction as the rotational direction of the rollers 4. The range of this concave shape in the width direction of the car body is usually the same or larger than the range in which the rollers 4 move due to the slope of the car body on a curve. Make sure there are no blemishes.

In FIG. 4, the pendulum stopper 1 is installed on the rotating burr 5 by extending the left and right pendulum suppressing cylinders built into the swinging pillow 9.
In the state where it is extended to 0, that is, when the pendulum operation is fixed or when either the left or right pendulum suppressing cylinder U that is contracted during pendulum action is pressed against the pendulum stopper 10, the left and right impact vibrations are absorbed. The only material available was the elastic stopper rubber for the insert stopper, which sufficiently absorbed vibrations and did not cause redness. Therefore, by applying this example as shown in the first WJ, it is possible to prevent the vibration itself caused by the wobbling of the vehicle body in response to external vibrations, thereby improving the riding comfort. Furthermore, even when both the left and right pendulum suppression cylinders U are not in contact with the pendulum stopper W, it is of course possible to prevent vibrations due to wobbling of the vehicle body in response to external vibrations.

The pendulum center is formed into an ellipse or an ellipse so that the center of the pendulum does not move in the vertical and horizontal directions no matter where the rollers and the roller holder are in contact within the inclination range of the upper housing body. By doing this, it is possible to prevent the center of the pendulum from moving in the vertical and horizontal directions, thereby further improving riding comfort.
