Abstract

PURPOSE:To make mounting possible by one-touch operation in no relation to a material of a tube of a propeller shaft by stopping a band, provided with a weight member, by one-touch operation to an arbitrary part in the periphery of a tube of the propeller shaft and performing unbalance correction. CONSTITUTION:In the case of correcting unbalance of a propeller shaft, a band 10 is wound on the periphery of a tube 20. Here, a weight member 16, fixed by welding or the like to an outer side surface aside to one end part 10a of the band 10, is positioned in an opposite side to a residual unbalance part of the tube 20 with the axial line of the tube 20 serving as the reference. The weight member 16 is fitted to an engaging hole 18 by piling both end parts 10a, 10b of the band 10 by placing the end part 10a, in which the weight member 16 is provided, in a lower side. Under this condition, a fixed condition of the band 10 relating to circumferential and axial directions of this tube 20 is reinforced by biting of fixing hooks, in the internal periphery of the band 10, in the tube 20.

種の条件(遠心力、高温、水などの作用)を考慮したと
き、これに対応できる溶接手段は未だ実用化されていな
い。

ブに対するリベット用孔の加工、リベットのかしめ加工
が必要である。このためアンバランス修正に時間かかか
り、作業も面倒である。またバランスウェイトの取付は
位置を微調整することも困難である。

に設定された係合孔とを備えている。

に前記ウェイト部材を位置させる。そしてこのウェイト
部材を前記係合孔に嵌め込むことで、このバンドはチュ
ーブの外周に止められる。
