Abstract

PURPOSE:To heighten accuracy in the fitting position of a rear seat back by fixing a hinge bracket, provided with a hinge at its tip face part protruding toward the center of the body width direction rigidly to both the raised upper face part of a rear side member and the raised edge end part of a rear floor by spot welding. CONSTITUTION:A previously manufactured hinge bracket 23 with a hinge pro vided at its protruding tip face part 26 is placed on both the raised upper face part 21 of a rear side member 10 and the raised edge end part 22 of a rear floor 11, and rigidly secured at plural places by spot welding. An arm member 3 provided at the lower end corner part of a rear seat back 1 is rotatably screw-fixed to the hinge at the tip face part 26 of the hinge bracket 23. As a result, the fitting span of the rear seat back 1 is determined by the position of the raised edge end part 21 of the rear floor 11 and the shape of the hinge bracket 23, which results in heightening fitting accuracy.
