Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the iron loss of a magnet motor by providing slits in a C-shaped wound cylindrical auxiliary yoke. CONSTITUTION:Slits 12a are made in an auxiliary yoke 12, and the slits 12a and openings of the auxiliary yoke 12 are adjusted to the center positions of the respective N pole and S pole of magnets 14, and fixed. As magnetic flux generated by the magnets 14 passes a frame 11 and reaches the auxiliary yoke 12, magnetic leakage to the periphery from the auxiliary yoke 12 occurs. Namely, iron loss is generated in the frame and auxiliary yoke 12 by the magnetic flux from the magnets 14. The magnetic flux is divided into flux which flows into the auxiliary yoke 12 and work effectively and leakage flux by the slits 12a of the auxiliary yoke 12. Accordingly, it becomes possible to reduce the iron loss caused by the leakage flux by the slits 12a.
