Abstract

PURPOSE:To supply accurate, high speed and efficient information to a user by providing a function which retrieves a character string for which the user designates the string among many pieces of information received with a radio call selection receiver having a display function and which stores only the information with counting information. CONSTITUTION:This receiver is provided with a radio part 1A consisting of a decoder 3, program P-ROM 4, RAM 5 for reception message storage, a micro controller unit (MCU) 6, a control part 7 consisting of an operation part 13, and an LCD controller/driver 11 consisting of display RAM 10 which tentatively stores a displayed message and display LCD 12. In such a case, continuously received information is inputted to the decoder 3 through the reception part 2 of a radio part 1A, and the decoded message is stored in RAM 5 of the control part 7. Then, MCU 6 is activated by the designation of a flag by P-ROM 4 for program. Thus, information which the user requires can efficiently be noticed.

Step 7.8 If the power off is No after that, it is determined whether to specify a new character string in Step 8, and if No
If so, the process returns to information reception and repeats steps 3 to 6. If step 8 is YES, the process returns to step 2, specifies a new character, and then shifts to the reception state. Among the characters specified in step 2, for example, information on (1), $=... If you want to display only (1), press the message page switching button 16 on the operation panel 13, move the cursor on the display to the 1st digit (1), and press the setting button to display only (1). The designation is confirmed. Town, there's a clock 17 on the control panel 3.
The digital clock signal is stored in the display RAM together with the received information and displayed on the LCD 12.
