Claims (1)
ツドと、該ピストンロツドに固定されたピストン
と、一対の電極板と、該電極板間に介在された電
気粘性流体を備え、該ピストンロツドを該シリン
ダに進退させる際に生じる抵抗が該電極板間に印
加する電圧によつて変化することで該シリンダと
該ピストンロツド間に加わる振動を減衰させる力
が増減する形式の減衰力可変式シヨツクアブソー
バにおいて、 該一対の電極板のうちいずれか一方の電極板は
該シリンダ側に固定され、他方の電極板は該シリ
ンダ側に対して弾性体を介して相対変位可能に支
持され、かつ該シリンダに上下方向の加速度が作
用して該他方の電極板に対して該一方の電極板が
相対変位したときに該電極板間の有効対向面積が
減少する位置関係に、該一方の電極板と該他方の
電極板が配置されていることを特徴とする減衰力
