Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a flame resistance, antiseptic and a moth-proofing effect by impregnating phosphoric acid ion and borax, or molybdic acid ion and borax into a lumber work article. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 70-80 pts.wt. of primary phosphoric ammonium, 10 20 pts.wt. of secondary phosphoric ammonium, and 1-2 pts.wt. of borax, or a mixture of l-10 pts.wt. of ammonium molybdate and 90-99 pts.wt. of borax are dir solved into a proper quantity of water and allowed to be a solution, and this is sprayed to a lumber work article by means of a spray or the like, or a lumber work article is immersed into the afore-mentioned solution to be impregnated, and then drying process is effected therefor to remove moisture of the lumber. The lumber article treated in this manner has a fire-resistance as well as a antiseptic and moth-proofing effect, and therefore can be applied to a building material or furniture particularly effectively.

の酸素を遮断して直接加熱された箇所のみを炭化するに
止めるように作用する。また、硼砂は漂白作用を有して
いるため、その添加は燐酸アンモニウム塩の単独使用に
よって生じる木材加工品の経時的な黄変を防止する効果
もある。さらに、硼砂は防腐、防虫作用を有しているた
め、微生物等による木材加工品の腐食や白蟻等の虫害を
防止する効果もある。しかし、上記混合物中の硼砂の割
合が1重量部以下では、これらの作用、効果を奏するこ
とが困難となる。

品の製造コストを上昇させる。

を要する。従って、合板やパーティクルボードのような
板状の木材加工品は、浸漬よりもスプレー噴霧で処理す
るほうが好ましい。また、飽和水溶液に近い高濃度の水
溶液を木材加工品の表面に刷毛塗りする方法もある。

材加工品の内部全体に含浸されていなくとも、表面およ
び表面からある程度の内部まで含浸されていればよい。

の密着性を低下させたり、塗膜の性能を劣化させたりす
